We are in the generation that everything is digital and online and people do not need to get out of their house and purchase porn to watch. They can easily download it and enjoy it and store it on today's 500gb+ drives. I think that using the betamax/VHS example to Blu-Ray and HD-DVD in regards to the porn industry is overrated. Like I said, comparing that time to the current time, things change and with everything being electronic, that changes too. I honestly do not believe the porn industry will make much difference in this battle. It will come down to which format is marketed better and which one has the most support of big companies and it appears that at this moment, Blu-Ray has that advantage though that does not mean they will win.
