I think it's 9 for the 9 lives of a cat. I'm still stuck there though.

okay on repair table anyone notice that, when you mouse over certain areas you get a text cursor...when you right click "select all" copy and paste it you get solved or unsolved?

i notice it too there was this image in the first 30 min where the cursor would appear now they don't show up

On the edge of most of the clocks are line... maybe these are like barcodes and give some infomation on what the displays need to be set to.

so for hourglases the anser is grains because i enter grains and it dosent work

I don't think so cuz some of the segments would have been on already. I had a second look and it's for sure a cat so that last number is 9.
