Hey guys, just signed up here...thought i might be able to help everyone out. For tombs...when you click on the "fill in sheet", it slowly appears while you can stills see the yoyo symbols. They are pointing to a letter or going right through a letter....maybe that might have something to do with it. I got RTAFTFLAUCER...not sure what that means

ANYONE WANTS TO WORK ON A "MURAL" puzzle?

I got two so far. It is the Invention of the pictured product and the year it was invented or introduced. The initials are the initials of the inventor.

Here is what I have so far....

RW = Robert R.Williams Jr - Process for obtaining vitamins - 1936

HD = Humphrey Davy - Demonstrated electric lamp to the Royal Society - 1806

JW = James Watt - Improved steam engine - 1763

BF = Benjamin Franklin - Pointed light rod conductor - ????

GLL = George Louis Lesage - Used a single wire system to telegraph a message - 1774

LP = Louis pasteur - Process of sterilizing milk - ????

GS = Glenn T. Seaborg - Synthesis and isolation of the radioactive element plutonium - ????

GM = Guglielmo Marconi - Radio - 1901

AGB = Alexander Graham Bell - ???? - ????

CM = Cyrus McCormick - Inventor the Reaper - ????

TE = Thomas Edison - Invented phonograph - 1877

Still trying to fill in the blanks, will re-post as I do, please do the same :)

The "RW" you seem to have should actually be an "EW", for Eli Whitney, inventor of the cotton gin in 1794. The plant pictured is cotton, after all.

For the COMPOSERS Puzzle...arent we supposed to find the City of Birth for each?

Here is what I got:

Beethoven: Bonn

Strauss: Vienna

Ravel: Paris

Liszt: Raiding

Mozart: Salzburg

Bach: Eisenach

Bizet: Paris

Verdi: Roncole

No one following up with this? The clue clearly states : City of Birth

i have the same list but with 3 changes:

Ravel --> ciboure

Liszt --> Doborj?n (raiding is the state)

Verdi --> le roncole

so the entire list is

beethoven --> bonn (germany)

strauss --> vienna (austria)

ravel --> ciboure (france)

liszt --> doborj?n (hungary)

mozart --> salzburg (austria)

bach --> eisenach (germany)

bizet --> paris (france)

verdi --> le roncole (parma, italy)

Oops, I meant to correct that one before I posted, I tried to combine my list with one in a previous post and cocked that one up :)

Corrected (and slightly updated) list, pretty sure the rest is right so far, just deleted the wrong line when I combined my list with someone elses :)

The reaper was invented in 1831... Bell invented the telephone in 1875, pasteur was 1862, if it's Whitehurst and the cyclic pump then it's 1772

Just curious, where did you get Glenn Seaborg from? That's a stretch from just GS and a swirl... ;)

Flip once more and it looks similar to diagrams leading to the Kings Chamber in the Great Pyramid possibly.

For lasers it says use every mirror perhaps another mirror is supposed to be used when done to flip the letters heres a pic of it flipped just seein if any1 can make anything out of this...

Actually I think your right about it being John Whitehurst, an image I just found better matches the one in the puzzle, thanks for that :)

Updated list to reflect your info (which I checked to be sure), thanks for that....

HD = Humphrey Davy - Demonstrated electric lamp to the Royal Society - 1806

JW = John Whitehurst - Invented cyclic pump - 1772

BF = Benjamin Franklin - Pointed light rod conductor - ????

GLL = George Louis Lesage - Used a single wire system to telegraph a message - 1774

LP = Louis pasteur - Process of sterilizing milk - 1862

GS = Glenn T. Seaborg (?) - Synthesis and isolation of the radioactive element plutonium (?) - ????

GM = Guglielmo Marconi - Radio - 1901

AGB = Alexander Graham Bell - Invented Telephone - 1875

CM = Cyrus McCormick - Inventor the Reaper - 1831

TE = Thomas Edison - Invented phonograph - 1877

Let's call the GS / Glenn Seaborg thing a leap of faith... only inventor I could think of or find with the right initials.. lol (added (?) to reflect this!)

Then again, maybe.... John Whitehurst - Invented Hydraulic Ram Pump - 1775 ??? The picture actually could be this one either!

WE figured all these out back in the beginng of the posts like page six I figured the swirls had something to do with light or something of that nature did a search on inventors and matched up initials until found one that sounded right Glenn seaborg...
