Puzzle Box 4

Just a random thought on Box #4-Puzzle #12's answer of Gemini2...

Not that it does us any good, but it is interesting that there are four Lokis...

Maybe the answer is really Gemini2? Twins squared.

Okay, I'm tired.

Really going out on a far-fetched tangent here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Brothers

"...Seven Brothers (originally Seitsem?n veljest?) is the only novel of the Finnish author Aleksis Kivi and the first significant novel in the Finnish language. It was first published in 1870 and has been twice translated into English, first by Alex Matson and later by Richard Impola.

Seven Brothers is a tragicomic tale about seven brothers of Jukola family who end up handling their farm after their parents have died. Brothers include the strong Juhanitwo sets of twinsb>; Tuomas and Aapo, and Timo and the hunter Lauri; the would-be-preacher Simeoni and the youngest Eero..."

Way too much info on the web!

Didn't finish yet but I'll throw the idea into the open to see what do you think.

I'm working with the numbers from roamingroaming, I believe that it's another riddle and

we don't have to get crazy to draw all the lines on a map, it will be very hard to be sure

that you are drawing the lines in the correct direction.

Also the note "physical presence not required" is bugging me, plus the TANLI.

What if, we use the numbers and the directions (up, down, right , letft) to create x,y coordinates

and see what figure we draw ?

We've seen this before with the laser and with the room with a view.

This could lead to something that may be in LATIN

Any takers ?

I still believe it's a trivial answer ...

Just my humble opinion.

Could the TANLI and the lines in the pic of loki at roamingroaming have anything to do with NES as in the letters missing from TANLINES (in reference to the lines in the picture)? Hows that for a stretch?

..or perhaps just NE for north east?

Well, everyone, it's been grand. I've submitted my answer, and I fear that if I hang around in this forum much longer, I'll overthink the problem and change my answer. I wish all of you the best of luck with both the Meta Puzzle and the sweepstakes in general.

I am with you on that one. Imagine if you changed your answer to "follow" the thinking of others and found out later that your original answer was correct...

Honestly I would be happy with a Zune over having my name on a bunch of chips that nobody will really ever see.

Well, I'm sure that the message will be on a lot of internet news sites and maybe a few TV channels. So, you'd at least be internet-famous.

ok one out of the blue....

I have not tried any of the coordinates but could Iceland have anything to do with the last letter in loki... after all she mentiones that in an inanimated world things don't dissapear so easily and that could be counted for when things get frozen or stuck in ICE of snow... this i just a wildcard but who knows.. also Loki is a famouse name in the Icelandic/Norvegian mythologies......

I'm gonna repeat my own words. To be frank I don't give a squat about the prizes, but a cool laptop or some gadget

will be welcomed, my main interest is the challenge, and a great oportunity to learn from other people working in a

common project.

Guessing the answer sometimes gets the job done, as we've seen with some puzzles, but it's like buying a new

video game and the cheat code book at the same time, then where is the fun playing the game ? what's the challenge ?

Just my point of view ...

We'll know in few days which clues were real and which were dead ends, meanwhile I'll keep crunching until I'm able

to at least connect few additional dots.

Cheers

This is my first post and I hope you think I'm on the right track:

/RoamingRoaming & TANIL

-------------------------------

TANIL is an anagram for LATIN, which of course was from ancient Rome... "rome"ing "rome"ing sound familiar?

Thus I used Rome for my starting point.

check out my map from live.com maps with the distances.

What is 1582.89 miles east and 304.48 miles south of rome?

Where did you get that last "down"?

From the 4 Loki's video... the right most one says "LOKI was a puppet we all made *glasses* it was time for us to put her DOWN"

[0:55 - 0:59]

So then the graphic in the "/roamingroaming" is not indicating the last (right) but just clueing you in to go look for those spots in the video.

I tried that and still doesn't highlight the white box. I can clearly see the white box above the entry field in the Gravity Lock, but it is not clickable---not even using the "Tab" method. Also, the box doesn't how up until I first click "restart"---then the white box shows up, ..but again, unclickable.

Just curious...you probably already know this, but have you made sure that you are properly logged in? Sometimes during the earlier boxes, I had to re-login after clicking on the open box.

Yes... if you sequence all the videos you've seen so far... everytime Loki will grab her glasses and say something clever that says "it's UP to you" or "don't let me DOWN"... just getting the videos in sequence is the trick.
