BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC 320MB

Recommended Posts

That isn't what I asked...
Well, so far there no official reviews so we can't compare, look at Neoseeker's daily reviews you will see when they will appear because actually, I can't say how the 320MB version is performing.
King Mustard:

That question also interests me, cause i own a 7900GT , its about the same as that 7800GT

Thanks

It's mostly likely slower than a 8800GTS 640mb at high resolution by quite a bit. However it should still be atleast 50% faster than say a 7800/7900GT as the 8600Ultra/GT packs quite a punch, which should easily outrun a 7800/7900GT & a 1800/1900XL(?)(ATI has so many variants I don't even bother to keep track).

Anyone know how much faster the 8800 GTS is than the 7800/7950?

If you go here: http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics.html you can compare most modern video cards out there. They don't have the specific 8800 GTS card you're talking about, but they do have the 680 MB version.

In that bechmark @ TomsHardware i compared 8800 640 MG and my 7900GT beats it @ Half Life Episode One...dunno why, is this possible?

And all the TOP ones are ATI 6 first at least are.

Is this possible?

In most non-OpenGL games, Ati cards are faster than nVidia cards. Nothing new here.

full review and benchmarks. Smokes the 7950GT 512mb in most tests, and almost evens up with the 640mb versions. Wish Nvidia would of released these on day 1, I'd be running these in SLI mode instead of the 640mb.

These tests were done in XP for obvious reasons.

The benchs are up in some place, the ones I saw on a French site point that there not so mush differences in performances between the 320MB and the 640MB.

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
    • They’re really desperate to ingrain AI into society hoping to tug the heart strings of public to jump unto the boat of destruction to humanity’s individualism.
