well not the final at least...

might happen that itll be similar to this in early stages...

Looks fake to me, however at this stage it doesn't matter if it is or not.

Nothing is near final, or beta with Windows Vienna right now.

The most regarding final builds, may be concept screenshots, but nothing in working order.

Wait till next year, you'll see screens gettin leaked and news everywhere...

that looks nice. some Microsoft concepts CAN look nice.. but it seems they can't build a nice looking product...

PS.: actually, Office 2007 looks very good :)

k, so im gonna be the first one and start the Windows7 Themes. lmao, since vista was done to death since it was the first OS where u can actually have themes on a predecessor OS and resemble the future OS. Work is already done and it looks pretty cool. I will upload screen shots if enough people request. but seriously ull use it for a day 4 days max and get sick of it. the second screen was amazing though.

I agree - not only it looks good, but the functionality is good too! (After you got used to it)

and about that screenshot from AeroXP - I'd say it's from one of the old longhorn days. Notice the buttons (ie. the Pause button in the screenshot). - they look awfully like the old Vista buttons....

Microsoft claimed that windows vienna will be nothing huge, in fact they hope to release by 09.. The one after that will be the revolutionary release..

Source?

Isn't Vienna suppose to be Windows codenamed Blackcomb? The one which will revolutionise the way we use computers today?

Vienna will be someting.....Fiji or what's the name,no,just a kernel update to vista ...it's all here on the forum :)

I agree about office 12 ....i'm starting to love making documents and presentations for school

i guess u mixed up two statements both by MS.

1st Vienna will be NO "major update to Windows" like Vista has been to XP.

So what do they mean? That statement means that Vienna will not take as long as Vista.

2nd Vista is just the middle thingy between XP and vista.

What does it mean? well... it means vista actually is just a (slight?) insight into vienna... vienna in fact will be all different - its supposed to be at least.

idd, the office 12 nterface is truely a nice little helper :D

That UI on page 7 (old longhorn thingy) looked niiice :) Well i hope Vienna will be compatible with the Vista drivers... I don't think i could handle anymore new driver needs anymore...

OffTopic: My whole class was jealous when i came to school with my Powerpoint 2007 presentation ^^ Already using Office 2007 since the first DogFood build :)

u can impress ur class mates with you having 2007?... wow...

any1 in my school could get it really fast from some friend... but meh :p

ur school uses 2007 already? were running 2003, I am using office 2004 (mac) and 2007 in win.

allthough i might replace office 2007 for win by using 2008:mac only in future... :)

Glassed Silver:mac

I actually meant that i was using Office 2007 since first DogFood... My school is still stuck with Office 2000... (brought laptop).

Some people of my class have Office 2007, but they just can't take the advantages out of it... I remember someone made a Powerpoint in Times New Roman, plain black on plain white background...

I impressed my class with Keynote.

Now THAT is a presentation app to get excited about :)

And don't rag on other folks' presentations. Some (wait, most) people don't have the time nor the interest to sit there learning the ins-and-outs of a program. White background with TNR is fine. It's the content that matters.

Anyway...I guess I'll dive back into the PC world when Vienna comes knocking. '09 isn't far off.

true...

allthough I have to wait till I have an iBook G4 or a Macbook till I start using Keynote for school... but wait... I guess I'll be in University by then, oh sh**... :(

You should see the presentations you can easily make with PowerPoint 2007. I used to despise making PPTs, but this app is actually fun and it makes it easy to create amazing looking presentations.

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed Wayland root CLI issues and several Snap-related problems. Improved package dependencies, AppStream metadata, and desktop file handling. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
