ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. ? A 15-year-old girl who hiccuped her way through part of January and all of February is hiccuping once again.b>

Jennifer Mee[/b]b>, who hiccuped close to 50 times each waking minute for more than five weeks starting Jan. 23, began hiccuping again Thursday morning after a nose bleed, said her mother, Rachel Robidoux.

It occured during Mee's second day back at school since her first bout of hiccups stopped Feb. 28, said Robidoux.

"I'm at my wit's end," Robidoux said.

? Speakout: Do you have any hiccup remedies for Jennifer Mee?[/b]

Mee was taken to the emergency room earlier this month when her hiccups returned. They stopped, though, and Mee felt it was safe to go back to school.

During her first bout of hiccups, Mee saw an infectious disease specialist, a neurologist, a chiropractor, a hypnotist and an acupuncturist. She tried a patented device that is designed to stop hiccups, plus all the old remedies.

ccording to the National Institutes of Health[/b], hiccups can be triggered by anything from spicy foods to stress, and they can start for no reason at all. They're caused by involuntary contractions of the diaphragm, which causes the vocal cords to close briefly, making that distinctive sound.

I have a method that might help.

What you have to do is sort of swallow while holding your breath. Its sort of liek swallowing. IF done right it works.

I wish there was an email address or something so that i can let this person know that.

i second what majortom1981 said.

i always thought id become famous one day for figuring this out. but mainly kept it to myself since the ppl i told thought i was crazy. the trick is, like he stated above, you have to do it right.

tip: try doing it like you want to kill your self. which after 5 weeks of hiccuping not be a bad idea. lol jk. no hold your breath. look up. pour 1/4 of a glass of water down (while looking up) and take a small 1/8 of a second breath so that you almost choke, but not really. what ive expereinced is that it some how creates a little aribubble in your throught which you might feel and then it pops, and you burb (which confirms that your did it right) and you feel this tingly sensation go all the way down to your stomach and then its gone.
