Everyone is forgetting that this is in CHINA, not the USA. Women there could do with more rights. I don't think this will really help though because the most downtrodden women are not likely to ever go there with their husbands. **** that, I'm going to make my own Man Town, where beer and pornography flow free hard and fast. And PMS happens the week before your period. Anything that bleeds and stays alive has got to be evil. So you have never had a cut and bled? I think you missed the words "for x days" Anyway we spend a fortnight saving up the blood, to just bleed it out. :x And a period contains less than a cupful of blood. Fine, it's open to interpretation. Most of us exercise some sort of control over conscious physical response to it, even if we haven't managed to control mental response. In China, women basically have to do whatever their husband/father/etc says. This "town" (not the proper term, they should be using the word resort) would be a place for couples (and I guess families, but I'm getting the impression this is a couples resort) to vacation to turn that around for a week or however long. I don't think this will really help though because the most downtrodden women are not likely to ever go there with their husbands. you guys ever been to China? they've come a long way in terms of gender equality, and yes the wives would bring thier husbands, but yes this would depend on couple/family to couple/family as it would be in the western world. danwei.tv if anyone is interested in learning more about china, they have some great shows. mainly centered around beijing. this episode talks about womens day.I agree with episode on the resort idea. that might be how it turns out. sounds interesting, i would definately check it out.
