Taken this recent weekend. The first is Infrared :)

I decided to walk around with my nifty fifty attached to my D70s to try and help open my eyes up a little more in terms of composition and framing. To make me work harder to get the shot instead of just zooming in and out. I guess you could say it's my own form of photography boot camp :laugh:

Always a good idea, it really works too.

Just got a new camera today, so I've been taking a few pictures. Haven't really mastered all the special little tricks but It's alot of fun :)

Finally got to play around with my new Nikon D40 today - received it yesterday along with a nikon-crumpler bag ^_^ I'm really happy with it and I'' surely delve some more into the photography-realm of the world.

Went for a quick walk in the neighbourhood today, to play around a bit with the camera and test some of the things. All I did to the shot below was some higher contrast and black/white conversion;
