em_te Posted May 7, 2007 Author Share Posted May 7, 2007 I grew up watching those Dettol commercials of a baby taking a bath in Dettol water (diluted properly of course) and the voiceover touting how it kills 99% of germs in bathwater and I thought, surely if it is safe for a baby to bathe in, and surely the manufacturers of Dettol would consider the fact that a baby would inevitable get some bath water into their eyes and so must make their product "eye safe", then this Dettol product would not be too harmful for the eyes.
