[Cancelled] Sarah Connor Chronicles (Terminator Series)

Recommended Posts

This show is awesome. I thought it was just ok at first, but I've really enjoyed the past two episodes. Hopefully Fox won't cancel it, because it's a great show.

I agree.... It's not perfect, but I like the actors a lot and I want to see where this goes... It could be GREAT.

forgot something and cant edit now...

if they're taking a lot of blood from a lot of people, it shows that they're making a lot of synthetic flesh, to either send an army back in time, or something really big...

or maybe just sending them to the past as fast as they possibly can.

It could easily just be what's required to make the human model Terminators as we've seen some back in err.. in the future. They have to get their blood somewhere, maybe its just a casual friday evening for the 'nators, you know, music n all.

they really have no need for the flesh exept for going back in time, the time travel machine on teleports living matter.

How do you figure? The use the human like terminators in the future all the time, its how they infiltrate the resistance. Its also how Connor got his terminators to reprogram. Flesh covered terminators are just as important in the past as they are in the future, only difference is they are required for the past whereas in the future they are more or less a special unit.

Heres my theory:

they where chained in the house, then taken downstairs where they had a large amount of blood taken, which the terminators need to make there synthetic flesh, or for something else...it explains why they came back from the basement so weak, and why they would be tagged and then let go.

Same thing i was thinking!

maybe theyre going to cover those jet engines in synthetic flesh and send it back in time to medieval ages, and build a giant robot that obliterates everything :|

I thought the jet engines were apart of the timemachine?

I thought the jet engines were apart of the timemachine?

Exactly. Those scenes take place just prior to the creation of the time machine, don't they? Kyle Reese was still there for a while etc...

when they were carying the jet engine the time machine was already operational (since reese met with connor and got sent back ) .. one quick q tho ...

the girl terminator ... in episode 6 ... she kept the cip from the killer android she destroyed (why?) .... is she going all red robot on us .. or blue but evolving into some crazed machine ...

Virgin 1's audience rocketed seven-fold for the opening episode of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles last night.

Some 642,000 viewers, a 4.16% share in multichannel homes, tuned in for the drama's debut at 10pm.

It trounced the slot's average last year of 90,000 (0.61%). A further 102,000 (1.19%) tuned in an hour later on Virgin 1's staggercast.

The total audience was also five times the slot's average performance of 156,000 so far this year.

Its just a pity they hyped it as being in HD (when its obviously not, at least not on Virgin 1 it isnt seeing as its not an HD channel) and it was also shown in 4:3 Good job I seen them elsewhere :shiftyninja:

My dad was not impressed because of this so turned it off :(

The engines were meant to power the device, when Reese is looking at it in the room, you see them all surrounding it.

And don't worry Summer signed on for the whole season at the very least. Shes not going away just yet. Thankfully. :)

WoW, today I swear all I done was watch all the episodes and "The Big Bang Theory" episodes :) I've heard about this for a while but didn't think about watching it, but after the first episode, all I can say is that it's amazing.!

Yep, just saw episode 1-6 :shifty: and new episode tomorrow :D

**EDIT**

I finally get to see how the future is like for them

Just saw it about three times now and aint tired of it :p, well anyway I finally see how everything went and do you guys think that Cameron is going to betray them? Or, she's going to build something? Because:

1. When John was talking about singularity Cameron had a suspicious look on her face

2. Cameron took one coltan bar which is required for exoskeleton or something

3. Cameron kept the screw thing that belong to what's his face

I think she stole the "Turk" also... as Kyle denied killing Andy yet we see at the end of last episode he did but ran out of the room without it... maybe Cameron upgrades it with the dead terminator's cpu and brings skynet online?

Also, Cameron appears to be a retard when it comes to "learning" robots compared to Arnold's model. In the special edition of T2, the cut scene is reintroduced that shows Sarah Connor switching "on" the learning mode of his CPU and then Arnold gets smarter throughout the remaining bit of T2 and adapts to John's humanity...

Oh wow, imagine that, one of their own synthetic brought back skynet, dam I can't wait for episode 7 and for the rest of the episode, it just gets more interesting :)

I watched the pilot of this a few months back (leaked episode - I know, I know, I'm a bad boy..), I didn't like it very much. I thought the effects were a bit naff (but put it down to being a leak), the plot was a bit silly and the female terminator a bit...clich? and predictable.

But I'm tempted to watch the rest of the episodes to see if it gets any better, can anyone confirm if it does actually get better as it goes on or would I be wasting my time since I didn't like the pilot?

it gets better, but theres still a bit of "blablablalbabl" at the beginning and end, just like every other show...which kinda kills the "end of the world" mood:pp

    • Are they marketed as an entry into astronomy or astrophotography? I do astrophotography. With big rigs, lots of computers, cables and headaches. I love it. And by learning this ridiculously complex hobby, I’ve learned about the objects I’m shooting. Astronomy followed from photography.
    • Microsoft confirms Recycle Bin bug across all versions of Windows by Usama Jawad A couple of days ago, we reported that the latest Patch Tuesday update has seemingly resulted in a lot of issues for many users, including OneDrive and Dropbox access problems, BitLocker recovery lockouts, and BSODs. Although Microsoft is yet to acknowledge these bugs, it has confirmed another, relatively smaller issue across all supported versions of Windows. In an update on its Windows Release Health Dashboard, Microsoft has confirmed that after installing June's Patch Tuesday update (KB5094126), you'll experience unexpected behavior when leveraging Recycle Bin. Basically, when you attempt to delete an item from the Recycle Bin, the confirm dialog will show you the internal file name of that content rather than the actual name. For example, the file may be named abc.png, but the confirm dialog will ask if you're sure that you want to permanently delete $Rxxxxx.png from the Recycle Bin. This is pretty much it for the scope of the bug itself; it just displays the wrong name in the confirm dialog. The correct name will be shown in the list view of the Recycle Bin and if you restore the file, it will return with the correct name as well. This issue affects pretty much all supported versions of Windows client and server, including: Client: Windows 11, version 26H1; Windows 11, version 25H2; Windows 11, version 24H2; Windows 11, version 23H2; Windows 10, version 22H2; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019; Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB 2016 Server: Windows Server 2025; Windows Server 2022; Windows Server 2019; Windows Server 2016; Windows Server 2012 R2; Windows Server 2012 As things currently stand, Microsoft is working on a concrete solution that will be released in a "future" Windows update. It remains to be seen if the firm will wait till the next Patch Tuesday or roll out an out-of-band (OOB) fix. The good news is that commercial customers can deploy a workaround right now, but they will have to reach out to Microsoft Support for Business for additional details.
    • They said by this time everyone will have flying cars. WELL...
    • A study by physicist Henry Tye of Cornell University suggests that the universe may not expand forever. Instead, it could eventually stop expanding, begin contracting and end in a "Big Crunch" roughly 20 billion years from now. Maybe not as we now know that time can flow backwards.
    • Of course. Simply reverse the polarity.
