Day 3, Night

NEWS BULLETIN:

After being voted guilty for the murders of Quick Shot and Ricky S., the public today demanded the immediate extermination of Mafia suspect iCeFuSiOn. After being subjected a firing squad, the public's relief was short-lived as an explosion went off just two streets away. Thankfully, nobody was hurt.

The Mafia have released a video announcement within the last few minutes claiming responsibility for the explosion. They also stated that iCeFuSiOn was NOT a member of the Mafia. CCTV footage of the site of the explosion an hour earlier shows that there were indeed FOUR Mafia members driving the Mafia's orange wagon.

It would seem that iCeFuSiOn was innocent, however at least in killing him the townpeople have demonstrated that they will do everything in their power to bring an end to the violence created by the Mafia.

"Next time we won't kill anyone unless we have concrete evidence they are Mafia", the Sheriff said.

In other news, Ricky S.'s cat has been taken in by everybody's favourite barbar Morrie.

Day 4, Morning

NEWS BULLETIN:

It would appear that the Sheriff's latest measures to stop the Mafia have backfired. The Mafia have struck out in retaliation and now have their sights on hunting him down.

This became evident when townsperson Sesse was found buried six feet underground after being tortured for information last night. Scratch marks, blood, and a cat were found inside of the exhumed coffin. Unfortunately, neither the cat nor Sesse made it out alive.

Sesse's fingerprints were also discovered to be on the handle of the spade that was used to dig the grave. It appears that Sesse literally dug his own hole and lied in it.

The Sheriff, who is currently disguising himself with a wig and 'tache, said he will not stop the fight until the Mafia have been caught and brought to justice.

Voting begins now, and ends at 4am CST, 10am UTC, 11am BST. Get it right this time people! :p

Cats eh...? is this one of your bloody tricks again? The one time you gave us a clue we ignored it and the other ones which we didn't, were wrong!! Burnt alive, ice, pretty opposite don't you think? but maybe you were tricking us so we'd make that combo and get it wrong!

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
