BREAKING NEWS

Today is a day which will go down in history. One of the four main Mafia members has been captured and is now behind bars.

e-m00 has just been jailed for the poisoning of Sacrificial Soldier, who was murdered last night and then used as a scarecrow. e-m00's DNA was found in the hair of Sacrificial Soldier. It appears that e-m00 had clipped some hair from him to keep as a memento. The Sheriff is to thank for correctly matching the DNA sample to e-m00.

e-m00 is currently being questioned as to the whereabouts of his gang members, but he is not saying a word.

It is not known if this practise of clipping hair has been carried out on previous victims, however Sesse is being re-exhumed from his grave again so that forensics can analyse his hair also. It is planned that Sesse will be buried for the third and hopefully final time on Saturday.

e-m00 is currently applying for bail.

Edit: Please keep sending in your votes which are unaffected by this event.

i think they will be a next one that is going to be alot better then this one

What's wrong with this one?

how did we get e-m00 arrested without a vote or anything?

Every Night the Sheriff can ask the moderator to reveal the identity of one player.

If the Sheriff uncovers a Mafia member, he is automatically out of the game.

I agree. There isn't enough strategy as of yet. Everything feels like a stab in the dark (Not enough communication amongst the Townspeople/Mafia groups).

i think one problem is not enough people trust other people even with basic information or ideas so everyone is keeping quiet or nearly so

there are still some members who havent even posted to this thread

shof is probably angry cause he got killed early on :shifty:

Hmm, when does the next person get owned? :)

I have not yet received enough votes to single out one person.

If you haven't voted yet, please do it now.

Edit: Unless I receive enough votes by 07:00 CST, 13:00 UTC, 14:00 BST, I will have to resort to rolling a dice to keep the game moving..

^If dead can't vote and if the mafia don't vote that only leaves 8 people to vote anyway. Or do the mafia vote for someone just to try and kill off more people?

The Mafia can vote as they are unidentified by their community. Dead people cannot vote because.. they are dead. :p

Then surely the 4 mafia could talk to each other and pick on another person, 4 votes would probably the most anyone receives due to the lack of communication currently going on amongst towns people and so easily keep wiping out the townies?

Edit: sorry, 3 mafia as 1 is dead bless him/her

That is certainly possible, however I cannot discuss other people's voting strategies.

Nightly Update

Scared of suspecting another innocent, the townspeople have been reluctant in voting for their friends and neighbours. What the townspeople fail the realise is that now almost a third of their fellow villagers are Mafia.

As a result, the Sheriff has ordered the two most suspected townspeople to play a game of Russian Roulette. The unfortunate loser was _Sharad_, who upon a search of his home coincidentally happened to be Mafia. The other player cannot be named for his protection.

The Sheriff has said that this is what will happen in future unless the townspeople start taking action against the Mafia. The townspeople have to be prepared to take risks and remember that the fight between Mafia and non-Mafia is a group battle, and that individual risks must be taken if the townspeople are to succeed.

In related news, the stress has become all too much for our Saxondale who earlier today killed himself.

    • That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.

    • Or use Epic games and get full games for free. lol Steam and their demos. Thankfully there’s competition
    • Maybe I missed it, but does this say anywhere that the game save bug has been squashed? I haven't encountered it myself, but it would be nice to know I'm good to go. Anyway, amazingly well done game. Mostly more of the same. ...but when the same is best in class with improved graphics and features, then a win.
    • Well when your game flops, you should expect this. If I do bad at work, I would expect a layoff. Less than 1600 people played it on steam. https://steamdb.info/app/1934570/charts/
