Volvox, a townsperson, has been voted off, meaning that the Mafia have won (they now control the voting). Nice work people!

Would the two other Mafia members now like to reveal themselves?

When I get home I will be posting the game spreadsheet which details all players' positions and votes.

Has anyone worked out who the Godfather is? I've been dropping clues in my News stories. Hint: He is a fictitious character.

oh ok, i admit i am one of the two surviving mafia. terribly sorry to all the people we pwned so mightily but ... we were born into this game mafias and of course had to accept our destiny ! ;)

Damn and I guessed that right at the very start of the game too, untill I got told I wasn't allowed to have suspicions. I'll take that as a minor victory for myself though :D

my guess is its "Don Vito Corleone"

Well that's a fun way to die. :s

yea, what i thought was interesting is that we mafia only killed you *after* doing all those other horrible things  :innocent:

I know I haven't been involved in this at all, but I've been reading on with interest since it started, and I had a small suggestion.

Was there any relation between a participant's overall post count and their participation in the game? I'm not one to give someone with a high post count preferential treatment, but if someone generally posts a lot on Neowin, it seems that they would be more likely to post more in the game, which would lead to more communication and a better game environment.

You could set a post count requirement for the game, but something low, like 100. This would allow relatively new people to join, but brand new people would not be able to join.

Just a thought.

Oh you bitch! :) I should've known it was you! How didn't I see that coming... How could you kill me?

I'm in the next one!!!

Here is the voting data in Excel format. Mafia killings were group decisions.

By the way, does anyone want to look back over the posts and clues to figure out which fictitious character was the Godfather, or should I spoil it and post the answer? It isn't difficult if you re-read my posts of this thread in order.

dont know if you saw, but i said above i think its vito corleone. probably wrong though!

lol that spreadsheet is brilliant! shof was the only one who suspected me. too bad he was suspected by more people... :shifty:

i noticed too that too many people didnt vote. this gave those who did a much greater power. but this didnt really help us mafia all that much as we werent always voting either...

for those wanting to play this game again, there are some good lessons to be learnt looking over that spreadsheet.

all praise to the great lt-davew for an excellent game !!!! :D

I also have a spreadsheet for the Mafia members. See for youself who was most suspected (the link has not been updated at the end, and ignore what you don't understand).

actually thats quite a good resource in that it shows our thinking along the way. we were always paranoid, trying to get rid of the sherriff, after the doc went

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
