Why does that suck? Do you really even use them? :p

It sucks because themes generally look better with a shellstyle - making one would enable people to choose whether they wanted it or not, currently you have no choice.

I don't really use themes without a shellstyle :/

Make one yourself.

Why? I'd rather just use a VS that already comes with a shellstyle. I just can't get my head around why the VS took so long to get a release when it doesn't even have a shellstyle and is pretty damn similar to LE5 Black... maybe it's just me.

@Phixion: Shellstyles dont look better. It breaks the theme in a way. And if it looks simmilar to LE 5 then just use that? Is has a shellstyle.

It took this "long" cause em3 stopped the progress and gave the skin to me to finnish it off some weeks later. That's why it took so "long". Making a skin isn't has easy as you think and this is my first "real" skin. So IMO it didn't took long at all :/

Well then don't use it? :pinch:

I already said I wouldn't, didn't I?

@Capric0rn: ok fair enough, I just expected more with the end product considering the time It took to get a release, I guess it's down to preference on whether you think a shellstyle makes a VS look better...

Nevertheless, good job on finishing and getting it out, I know making VS is hard work and time consuming!

The reason why there's no shellstyle is cause LE v5.1 Blue doesnt have one either and it doesnt look nice while using it. Check the LE thread why.

Back to posting screenshot!

i get the feeling ms is demoing 'surface' or something very, very similar at a club here in vegas. 'revolution', a club that goes along with a beatles-themed cirque show (yes, it's weird), has desks and tables that behave in straaaaaaaangely similar ways. they're awesome fun, though, so i hope to see surface come out earlier than planned :D

    • Can you still click his nose in the about box?
    • In that case this product has no value to me. I'd rather use older Creative SB that were better in my opinion or onboard audio chip.
