Welcome to the Neowin digital photo gallery! Here you can post your pictures and discuss your photography techniques.

Please be mindful of our members on dial-up and try to keep the dimensions of the pics and the size of the files to a respectable size for 1024 x 768 viewers. Please refrain from quoting images in your replies.

I will also ask that you link to images on your own space, as much as possible.

Try to put more details from your camera settings and also talk about what you have done with photoshop.

There are a lot of photographers here that like your editing skills and would like to learn more.

Thanks!

This was from a month or so ago (maybe two now?), my first time using a nice camera. This is behind my house, my grandpas rock garden (about 4 acres long)

Nothing was changed in photoshop for these images (besides resize/crop)

All images I took that day are here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dbemis/sets/72157600157297706/

Out and about with a couple of friends yesterday. I dont know if anybody likes the way i process my photos. But i do haha:
I have to admit I like the angle in number 2, and I like seeing some sky, unlike #1. Are the models just your friends?

@Dejon, pretty impressive contrast in that picture, distracting bokeh maybe?

Couple different sets...

We put up a hummingbird feeder recently, and the little things love it. I grabbed a few shots the other day:

(No, his beak is not cut off, there's a white ring around the hole and it blended in with the background)

hummingbird_4.jpg

And here's some shots from a car ride with my friend about a week ago... Long exposure light shots FTW!:

The only post-processing was upping the contrast and changing the white balance. These were all on my 400D.

If you click on the pictures you can view 'em bigger on my Flickr account. Comments and criticism appreciated. Next time I'll try to get some friends/people to work along, I'm really hoping to get more into decent portraits as it's way more fun in my eyes.

Oh and yeah, I like big blue skies with nice clouds :p
