The font is nu at a font size of 8, the whole config and font are available on the first page of this thread, you havent followed it very well have you :) (Just Kidding)

for some reason, my weather isn't auto updating... i have the value set for 3 minutes in the code, but it won't update... i came home tonite and it was still the weather from when i left, even though it was 10 degrees cooler... if i reload it though, i get the new time... any ideas?

i think you need to set the getpage variable to less time, and well if the rest of the script is getting refreshed at the same time as the getpage script then it will be using values from the old info gathered. then when it comes round to the script refreshing again it will take the new values. so it really takes double the time to get the new info... if u get what i mean.

hmm, now that i read my post, it makes no sense/i didn't read the rest of the thread, but for some reason there's no edit button next to the quote button to get rid of it all, so i can't do much about it (and yes, i'm logged in, this happens every now and again, i don't know why)

also... my weather script is messed up. its stuck in a continuous "executing script" mode. the configs are in the right place, and i've installed the fonts. any ideas?

I'm wonder if u have set the "writefile" function for the weather script.

If u dont setup this function, no one of the others will work.

Is this suppose to be showing on ur desktop??? am new to this. never used this programme b4.... but nothing seems to be happening... all i got is something sitting in my system tray and i don't see anything else

EDIT : OK got it working now... had to stick it in C:\Program Files ..... now when i load a config... it just sits there doing nothing

Here's mine. Made the windows and the config myself. Icons were snag from here and there. The konfabulator looking weather is REAL. It's a WORKING version , which will update the weather pngs dynamically every hourly, to reflect the currect weather condition, and it's script is compatible with 0.80a and up till 0.84.

Unique. I have checked and used your city, country in my extended weather. It works. Nothing seems to be wrong. Even the "symbolToday" is working correctly. Here's the extendedweather.vbs which I have configured for you.

Just extract it into the scripts directory of your samurize folder. Then open up config.exe to make sure u have added a 'Active script> extendedweather.vbs> write temp' entry in any of your configurations.

Extendedweather.vbs and weather.tmp included in a self extracting stuffit exe.

ExtendedWeather.exe

hi there.

is there any chance you could mail me that script?

or posting it here?

putting 'write file' before the temp, etc doesn't do anything. bascially, someone sent me their script, i downloaded extendedweathter.vbs, extendendedcalander.vbs, showmyip.vbs, etc, installed the fonts and everything worked fine. then, the weather stopped updating/executing. i didn't change anything.

    • Microsoft wants to end printer driver headaches with Windows Ready Print by Usama Jawad A few days ago, Microsoft released Windows 11 Experimental build 26300.8553, bringing a ton of enhancements such as Start menu customization, search improvements, Taskbar polish, and other minor UI tweaks. Another relatively major enhancement snuck deep within the change log was related to upgrades to the Windows printing experience. Now, Microsoft has shared more details about these benefits. For starters, Microsoft has renamed its Modern Print Platform to Windows Ready Print. The company believes that this name highlights its shift in strategy, which now focuses on modernizing, securing, and streamlining the printing experience for Windows devices. Some of the upgrades present in Windows Ready Print have already been seeded to customers and partners. This includes ending support for third-party printer drivers via Windows Update and transitioning towards the Internet Printing Protocol (IPP) and the native Windows IPP printer driver. In line with these changes, new printer installations will default to Windows Ready Print on eligible devices starting from July 2026. However, Microsoft recognizes that not all environments will be able to migrate to this platform immediately, so it will allow users to choose between installing the printer via Windows Ready Print or the traditional OEM process. Users will be able to toggle this configuration through Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners > Printer preferences. This control applies only to new printer installations, and its functionality can also be modified via Group Policy as follows: Launch Group Policy Editor Navigate to Local Computer Policy -> Administrative Templates -> Printers Find and select 'Configure Windows Ready Print driver ranking' -> double click to open it Select 'Enabled' (if you wish to enable Windows Ready Print driver selection) or 'Disabled' (if you wish to explicitly disable Windows Ready Print driver selection). Select Apply Select OK Similarly, if you set up Windows protected print mode through the same setting in Windows 11, it will also default to using Windows Ready Print exclusively. Microsoft hopes that these improvements will help eradicate dependency on OEM-specific driver installation processes and simplify printer installations. We'll likely find out more about other tangible benefits in the coming months.
    • Hey what's about the proton vpn firefox extension ? It's not working today
    • On what though? Not Ray Tracing.
    • Agreed, but now my muscle memory immediately creates a layer for each text portion, so editing is made a little easier.
    • Happy for him, it is one of the first apps I install on a new Windows machine, been using it for years!
