Here's the same zip file....with a more "tweakable" Beacon skin...

Less info on it...which will allow you to place text wherever you want...

When I download this file (and the other one), it gives me an "unexpected end of file" in WinRAR when I try to open it, and three of the files are corrupted inside :huh:

i downloaded samurize but how do i like..load it? when i click the client it makes the process but i dont see anything.. :confused:

You need to run a config. You can find Samurize configs here on Neowin or else where on the net.

Anyone here have a TV listings thing for United States? samurize.com doesnt load, so i dont know what to do.

thanks to bigred for posting his configs, but i had to make some modifications ;)

my only problem is when it starts up it goes to top left, i need it at top right, but when i change coordinates it wont start at all

Can somebody PLEASE post a mirror of bigred's config?

When I click either link he's given on page 69, it downloads a corrupt zip file.

If I try and download with DownloadMage, it just goes into an infinite loop - downloads almost all the file then cancels are starts again :mad:

Where do you have Samurize installed to?

Check the .ini file of the config you're trying to run/open and check that any directory location in the .ini file matches that of YOUR machine. If not, change them and try to open them again.

I got that problem when I installed to C:\Program Files\Serious Samurize, but everybody writing configs had it configured to C:\Program Files\Samurize

also, anyone have the CNN News Script made by Jahudie? I downloaded it but it didn't come with any readme's or anything like that, i need help.

Ok, i've been trying and trying to learn how to use this before posting here and bothering everyone, but now I just cant seem to understand the program, until i found the tutorial on samurize.dk ... now though, when i load samurize .. nothing shows up except the icon in the tray.

I can't right click it to edit anything .. or reload the config, it's like it's just frozen. Anyone know what's going on?? Or maybe a fix to my solution?? TIA

depends on the script ur using.. if it was one from any of the previous versions it wont work properly

I am using .85d on WinXp with SP1 and it works fine.

Can you open up config?

DesktopWeather.vbs and ExtendedWeather.vbs don't work for me AT ALL. I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but all I am getting is N/A.

Mine stopped too sometime around the 15th. I get I didn't notice that the temp had been 71 for the last several days. :(
