Rain is falling. the Doctor, on the porch, looks up at it.

DOCTOR: Get a lot of this. Atmospheric disruption.

Rain stops.

DOCTOR: Bye, Wilfred.

The Doctor moves off. WILF calls out.

WILF: What about you? All those friends of yours....who have you got?...... Next time, at night, when the stars come out....I'll look up and I'll think of you....out there on your own...on her behalf....

The DOCTOR turns, walks sadly across the road, gets out key, opens TARDIS, goes inside. Disappointingly, it doesn't disappear with a wheezing, groaning sound - but David Tennant comes out and goes back to the house.

Bets thing about Doctor Who and Torchwood, is trying to place everything in the program to where around Cardiff it is.

I always miss them filming though, a good number of my freinds have been around when they were, have gotten pictures and talked to them, lucky gits. :p

guys david tenant not leaving the show they are working around his stuff. I think they are going to make season four in mioniseries so david can do the stuff he wants to do to work around so he can do dr who still he not leaving.David has said he aint leaving. So I think season 4 going to have mini arcs like the christmas specials where you see one special then maybe two or three months later see another special.

Dr Who looks cool Donna on the other hand....

I agree.

I didn't like her in the Christmas special, I'm not sure if I am going to like her now.

She looks, I dunno, but not good, the picture seems to make her face look brighter and oddly coloured than it should be.

I think she looks a bit scatty a lot of the time, I think that's how I would describe what I am trying to say, lol, but my friend took a picture form when they met her during filming a bit a go and in the picture she looks relaly quite pretty, but that seems to be missing from all these shots of her.

Despite mega-ratings for both respective series, Sci-Fi Pulse reports that both "Doctor Who" and "Torchwood" will undergo some massive casting and storyline changes in the near future, including the loss of both key cast members.

The site reports that David Tennant will continue with his role as The Doctor through the entire upcoming fourth season, this year's Christmas Special and three specials slated to air in 2009. The 2009 Christmas special (the third of the three specials commissioned) will see the character regenerate again, this time played by actor Robert Carlyle.

They also say that Burn Gorman (Owen Harper), Naoko Mori (Toshiko Sato) and even John Barrowman (Capt. Jack Harkness) will leave "Torchwood" next season, though Barrowman will make guest appearances. Former "Doctor Who" companion Freema Agyeman, who reprised her role for three episodes of this season's "Torchwood", will join the cast full time next year.

The show itself will apparently also lose its adult-themed content and be geared more toward "Doctor Who" style audiences - essentially working as sort of a filler series for off periods of "Doctor Who" - and only five episodes instead of the usual thirteen have been commissioned.

The news sounds questionable. Tennant's tenure in the role was expected to finish up by the end of the specials so his being replaced is not news (especially as it remains unconfirmed), whilst Carlyle is one of the two names - the other being James Nesbitt - being cited most often as the most likely to takeover the role.

Carlyle himself however dismissed such talk on Monday saying no-one has approached him, however he'd certainly consider it if they did. More questionable is that the report says that filming has been underway on the four "Doctor Who" specials for the last few months already - surprising considering filming on the fourth season wrapped only a few weeks ago.

In other and more solid news, the BBC is unhappy with the leak of scripts for a two-part episode of Who's fourth season to The Sun. The tabloid reports that the story, penned by the series strongest scribe Steven Moffat ("The Girl in the Fireplace," "Blink"), is set on a 'library planet' in the 51st century where books give away SPOILERS about people's life stories and creatures such as data ghosts and Vashta Nerada (who're described as "piranhas of the air -- shadows that melt the flesh") wander the halls.

The fourth season of "Who" is scheduled to premiere sometime in April, until then however for those who don't live in the UK be sure to view the upcoming season trailer below which aired in cinemas last month (someone had to film it bootleg-style with a camera which explains the quality).

Carlyle is a good actor, he could do quirky.

I think behind torchwood non adult theme is all about money. We know the BBC will want to put money elsewhere to do some other big shows. I saw the trailer in the cinema and the look of it was fantastic as ever, but donna just doesn't do it for me.

While it is nice for the adult theme of torchwood to die down a bit, it does leave me to thing then why bother with 2 sci fi shows? Sure torchwood has got better, but the money could be used in who instead.

    • OpenAI is now rolling out Lockdown Mode to more ChatGPT users by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in February, OpenAI first announced Lockdown Mode for users who want the most comprehensive protection from potential attacks. At the time of the announcement, the company mentioned that this feature was available to a small set of highly security-conscious users, including executives or security teams at leading organizations. Today, OpenAI announced that Lockdown Mode is now rolling out to all personal ChatGPT accounts, including Free, Go, Plus, and Pro, and also self-serve ChatGPT Business accounts. Users can enable the feature from ChatGPT Settings > Security when it is available for their account. When Lockdown Mode is enabled, ChatGPT limits or disables several features that connect to the web or external services. These include live web browsing, Deep Research, Agent Mode, and more. Here is the complete list of services that will be disabled in Lockdown Mode: Live web browsing: Web browsing is limited to accessing only cached content. Search results may be limited, unavailable, or stale. Image support: ChatGPT may not display images in regular responses or retrieve images from the web. Users can still upload image files, and image generation remains available where it is otherwise available. Deep research: Deep research is disabled. Agent mode: Agent mode is disabled. Canvas networking: Users cannot approve Canvas-generated code to access the network. File downloads: ChatGPT cannot download files for data analysis. ChatGPT can still operate on your manually uploaded files. It is important to note that Lockdown Mode does not completely block prompt injections from appearing in content that ChatGPT processes. For example, a malicious instruction could still be present in an uploaded file or cached web content. However, the mode is designed to reduce the ways such an attack could send sensitive information outside the conversation. Along with Lockdown Mode, OpenAI today also announced that the Active sessions feature is now available across ChatGPT accounts and workspace types. This feature allows users to review where their account is signed in across devices and end sessions if required. A session will have the following information displayed: Device or browser information. First-party app context, such as ChatGPT, Codex, or API Platform. Approximate location. Sign-in date and time. Whether the device is a trusted device. Whether it is your current session. OpenAI highlighted that the Active sessions feature will not be available for accounts linked to an organization’s single sign-on setup, including SAML or OIDC.
