Hmmmm i wasn't actually that impressed and The Doctor really was more like a wet sponge until nearer the end.

Still prefer 'Blink' as a weeping angels episode and the whole 'The image becomes the angel' seemed very 'tacked on'.

Anyway, hope it explains why Amy doesn't know who the Daleks are because that's just weird..

I thought about this, and... I wonder if it's possible that Amy and everyone from 'her world' isn't from the time frame that The Doctor believes. It could be long after The Stolen Earth, or even before that ever happened, maybe?

Dare I say that was better than Blink and Dead/Library? I think it was anyways. :D

I love how they have "Bob" "Hey, who turned out the lights!" lol Can't wait for next week's now already, and I'm dying to know how the "Crack" will fit into things now.

nooooo Blink is best ever :p

Something weird is going on for sure. How can Amy not know about the Daleks?

I agree with the 'Tacked on' bit, Blink seemed to be for the older people, not little children, much darker and a nice change to the poorly animated 3D models in other episodes.

Doctor Who fans angered by trailer for Over the Rainbow

Thousands of Doctor Who fans have contacted the BBC to complain that the ending of Saturday night's episode was ruined by a trailer for the next show.

The on-screen caption featured an animated cartoon of presenter Graham Norton, host of Over the Rainbow.

It appeared as The Doctor, played by Matt Smith, was making an emotional speech during the story's cliffhanger ending for The Time of Angels.

The trailer was seen by millions of viewers watching on BBC One in England.

Fans have also been complaining on social networking site Twitter. One wrote: "Why is the BBC treating its audience like idiots?"

Another said: "Don't blink or Graham Norton will catch you."

The BBC often promotes programmes in this way but the corporation has acknowledged that in this case the scheduling was inappropriate.

A BBC spokesman said: "We apologise for the timing of Saturday night's trail."

It is not the first time an unexpected appearance by Norton has angered Doctor Who fans.

When the series returned in 2005 after a 16-year break, a technical error caused Norton's voice to be briefly heard over the episodes opening scenes.

Soo - A Fairy ruined some weeping Angels ;) (I'm joking, I'm joking - believe me, I've seen enough gay porn to qualify).

I didn't catch the episode live (I was finishing off Fringe S1), but I just finished watching the iPlayer HD version, and Norton didn't "pop up" over the trailer at the end - looks like it was only on the BBC1 SD Version.

What's so bad about Norton exactly? Is it because he's gay everyone is freaking out? Plus, I thought that his show was on ITV or something?

He was on Channel 4 before moving to the BBC where, at least IMO, he's wasted (his style of humor aint really suited to Auntie Beeb). It's not the fact he's gay, or the fact he's as camp as a christmas, it's the fact the promo appeared right as The Doctor was coming to the end of a particularly emotional / explosive / ranty piece of dialogue, and, I assume, peeps thought it ruined it - which I guess it would - if you're zoned into the plot of the show, and the emotion, it's gonna be distracting when Graham Norton, or anyone for that matter, pops up. Luckily it didn't happen on the HD iPlayer version of the show.

Well I can understand being peeved about getting taken out of the moment and plot of course.

So who's the guy on ITV I'm thinking of? lol I coulda swore it was Norton

As Prof.River Song would say, "Spoilers!"

Ten teasers about 'Flesh and Stone'

1. Eureka! Galileo!

2. Amy: "Basically we've *** up the inside of a *******."

3. The Byzantium contains a forest. Yes, a forest.

4. Amy: "Seven."

5. There's a scene reminiscent of a scene from 'Doomsday'.

6. Amy: "Six."

7. What's the opposite of the moral from 'Blink'?

8. River has done something very, very naughty.

9. There's a very important date you'll want to mark in your diaries/iPhones/Google calendars come the end of this episode.

10. The crack. We finally learn what it is and what it wants.

And, just for fun, a bonus teaser:

11. Amy does something to The Doctor that prompts an epiphany. And a collection.

Source: Digitalspy

I'm going with the whole "Wrong universe/time frame" thing... the TARDIS was bust up as the doc was regenerating so i wouldn't be surprised if it had dropped through the void or something. Hence the crack could be 11's doing and he needs to get back through to close it up. Think "The Cardiff Rift".

It may just be me, I dunno. But I can not get into this series. I was skeptical about Smith, I admit that. But I went in openly giving him a chance and I just can't enjoy what I'm seeing. It's like he's trying too hard to be like Tennant, he needs to be more his own Doctor if that makes any sense. The stories as well, to me, seem, for lack of a better word "off"

Last weeks Dalek episode was a yawn fest, I remember every past Dalek episode being an edge of your seat ride, this, just a plain, boring and ridiculous episode. I'll keep watching however, the crack intrigues me and I hold out hope it will get better

Hi,

Ok, I know I won't be making friends by saying this but so far RTD has done a far better job than Moffat (I mean in Series 5, I know Moffat has done a pretty good job on previous series as a writer). Anyway, Davies episodes just seemed more DoctorWho-ish to me, they were darker and didn't go around rebooting everything. Steven Moffat in the other hand is trying too hard changing everything (Giant Rainbow Daleks ? seriously ?). And you know, this is too bad because Matt Smith is doing a hell of a great job even if he's clearly imitating Tennant sometimes, and Amy is just ... hot !

Well, maybe it's just the early episodes and it will get better. I really hope we get something as brilliant as Series 3 final episodes with the Master and the great plot :)

Matt Smith: I like him, but I feel that Tennant did the angry/darker sides of the Doctor better... So far...

The crack: We are not where/when we think we are?

Amy: Hot!

These posts for the win!

It's not that i'm not enjoying this series or that Matt isn't doing a good job it just doesn't feel 'who' like. Moffat seems to be changing things for the hell of it, almost like he's scared of being over shadowed by RTD.

Matt needs to kick up a gear and stop trying to be tennant and Moffat needs to stop writing CBBC scripts. Everything seems to be written so that even the casual observer can spot the arcs etc.

I will stick with the series as i always have since Davison, because i am enjoying it. Just not as much as i think i could be.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
