RE: The background music.

While Murray Gold is an absolute musical genius, they really should turn down the volume of the background/incidental music by about 50%.

This has been an issue on much more than Dr Who in recent years...

Spoiler

I've been thinking and I have a feeling Rose's face showing up has something to do with Bad Wolf since reality got fucked up due to the wish and the 1 degree thing clearly didn't work as planned.

Now Bad Wolf has to fix reality as was kinda hinted at way back in the David Tennant days.

I also love these videos she makes:

I was also thinking about that daughter. I think there's more to her than we know.

Also can't help but notice that it was said multiple times that the Gods play tricks.

I was thinking, and was going to post, almost exactly what @Brandon Hjust posted!

It's definitely a curious omission, but not curious enough that I'm tempted to start watching again! :p Billie Piper was the one thing I hated about Dr Who's return to the screen.

Disney+ will be exiting the Tardis and will no longer be involved with Doctor Who after partnering on two seasons with the BBC plus a spin-off of The War Between The Land and Sea.

The BBC just confirmed that the show will continue and will return with a Christmas special in 2026 penned by showrunner Russell T. Davies. We understand details of future seasons will be announced in due course along with an animation for pre-school children.

Disney+ Officially Exiting ‘Doctor Who’ Partnership With BBC After Two Seasons

I can't imagine the global viewing figures (because in the UK, we don't watch it on Disney+) were much to write home about.  A vocal fanbase that like "the quirky Bri'ish sci-fi" certainly wouldn't have been sufficient to sustain such a show - especially considering it keeps flirting with being a wannabe "blockbuster" show.  The rabid fans of "classic" Who also are unlikely to have cared.  I have/had nothing against the house of mouse throwing some money at the distributors to get it on their platform, but I really didn't see it as quite the fit that it was billed as being, more suited to BBC Worldwide or such.

I'm not surprised. There are many shows out there that it is competing against.
