I?ve heard great things about the Canon 50mm in terms of image quality.

Budious
Cannon makes their own 50mm prime lenses, I think they even have a 1.2f model. I like the Nikkor 50 1.8f at around $100 it's a great value lense. It's great for low light conditions with the large aperature and incredibly sharp in brighter settings. You can pick up the Nikkor 50 1.4f for about twice the price but I'm unsure if it's worth the difference.

gaekwad2
Hehe, well a lens is a lens, so I'll just vote anyway (you DSLR elitist :p ) : 1 - Fujinon 28-300 f/2.8-4.9 You mean 6.2-66.7. I've got that one as well, but also three "proper" ones: Olympus 3.5/28 Olympus 1.4/50 Soligor 4-5.6/60-300 (all OM mount)

accesser
With the new Canon lenses coming out some of the current ones should start coming up for sale nice and cheap. How do you find your really wide lens 12-24 what do the images look like are things distorted I think canon makes a really wide fixed focal length that?s suppose to be quite good
moloko
I just bought the Canon 17-5mm 2.8. I received it yesterday. Today the weather is horrible and not opportunities to use it yet.
saxondale.
Just got the Canon 35mm f/1.4L :) I'm done buying for a while. If i do get a new lens, i think it will be the 70-200mm but at the moment, i'm not shooting anything which requires that.
