h3xis: Instead of being an idiot and writting nothing more than Liesss to get your post count up, you should read a few other posts on this forum. In particular one about bit torrent and the game's availability on the networks. I am 100% sure I am not the only one who's beat the game already.

I am not here to debate on how I got the game, why I got it early I am just here to say that I beat it and it's probably one of the best games I have ever played. There were better but Halo 3 deserves it all.

ahh, I get it...you want spoilers from me, you want me to start saying **** and giving out the ending so that what i am saying can be true.

Meh, I don't care if you believe me or not, I like being able to say that I beat the game before it actually comes out. Did the same with Bioshock and a few others.

A friend just opened 3 copies of Halo 3 Limited Edition and with all three copies both disc were loose inside of the package and scratched to death.

This Limited Edition has a **** Poor Plastic Nub and Foam Pad disc holding design that is a major flaw and the disc's pop off with ease.

This is what you are going to see when you open your Halo 3 Limited Edition:

Both Disc's Loose and floating around inside.

Looks like the rubber disc holder might not be good enough to hold the disc in place properly during shipping, causing it to come off and get scratched. :/

holy hell i just opened my copy & 1st thing i notice was the disc wasnt in place & looked at the bottom it was scratched with a deep scratch the kind that can not be buffed out

yes i paid for it even tho im not a fan of halo i said screw it & bought a copy

if everybodys copy is like this its best to get the normal version

Hmm.... this is what I think about Halo 3.

*****************************************************************************************************

*It leaves me confused.... I think there might be a Halo 4. :p It's not the end. It's marketing hype to get all of you suckers to buy it.*

*****************************************************************************************************

managed to play at a friends house today.

got it early for some reasons but he got the wrong version, was in French, not that i don't know french, it's my native language.

But I prefer play my games in english it fits along with the story much better in military involved scenes , you know. More direct.

I always watch movies in it's native language (english or french) it just feels more right to my ears. ;-)

It seems that they didn't put the audio track on the same dvd and had to make two versions in Canada, space limitation i guess.

BTW we're heading to save Cortana. And she's not herself :alien:

Of course ... Masterchief got alot of visions from cortana in this game.

Why is Halo being released on a Tuesday? Is it beacuse Tuesday is orignally classic firmware update day?

I am guessing it is because Tuesday is just a typical release day. Tuesdays and Thursday for the most part are when 90% of titles are released. So perhaps it is just sticking to what is known, or perhaps there is some hidden significant meaning I do not know about.

    • Simple answer is yes, you will still get the Windows updates and as long as browser is up to date, you will be good. Only thing secure boot does is protect you against boot level threats and make it harder to install other OS's. I've been looking into this pretty thoroughly lately myself as wifes computer has secure boot disabled plus my other, older computers that run Linux, don't have secure boot enabled. Have seen all kinds of questions about this on the Linux Mint and MX Linux forums. Just don't suddenly enable secure boot now.
