Another great episode.

Does anyone else want the three of the newcomers (besides the pilot) to die very painfully? And hopefully before too many more episodes?

The only one I like out of the new characters is the pilot. The other characters, I'm with you, I want them to die very painfully.

I love Ben though, he has so much up his sleeve :laugh: I know a lot of people don't care for him (in the show and in real life as a character), but I've always thought his character was one of the best, very well written characters of the show. Between him & Locke, I don't know which is my favorite.

Oh and BTW, I thought last week's episode was the best of the series, but I think this one surpasses it. :yes:

Man that episode was INCREDIBLE! That was just awesome. To me it was much better than last weeks a raised about a million questions..... AH!!!!! :drool:

I agree, this one wooped it, so to speak.

I love Ben's character. Michael Emerson plays the part perfectly and he's definitely a key character, I just hope he's there until the end. The black monster wasn't explained, but Locke asked. Ben doesn't know or he's lying. Juliet made a comment about it in the past: "We don't know what it is, but we know that it doesn't like our fences," so perhaps they really don't know...? I can't say I buy it, at least not from Ben.

- The plane under water (P.S. anyone else notice there was a BOX on the ocean floor with something on it, before showing the plane?)

- Who Ben has captured

Well we know that Ben was never part of the original natives on the island, nor was he ever part of Dharma, so they may not know what the monster is. Not unlikely in this case. But I'm glad Locke asked the question.

You misunderstood the last one. He didn't capture someone, he meant he has someone that is on the freighter that works for him.

I agree with everyone, Ben is the man. I cheered when he shot DHARMA chick. (I'm just assuming they are DHARMA at this point. Only thing that makes sense.) Too bad she was wearing a vest.

Abaddon's 'there were no survivors' was also very ominous. Are the orders to capture Ben, then kill everyone else?

Wouldn't it be a bit concerning that, whoever Ben has working for him on the outside, they would have lost contact with him for so long, they'd be coming to find out what's wrong?

They've had contact up until Locke went on his little destruction spree of the Flame and the Galaga.

Which would mean Ben probably knew about these people coming for months. Ah man that was a very satisfying episode. I want more, but I've got my fix. :D

ohh man what an episode, the part i still dont get it why all the coverup of the crash, an ancient polar bear with the dharma badge that was trippy, ben as usual was great, and i cant stand that charlotte chick, like someone already has mentioned i hope she dies a slow painfull death eg, gets run down by the cow, bashed about by smokey and then split into a million pieces by the choppers propellers, finally the dog can come and eat the remains

Sounds like you have it planned :D

I like Miles he has attitude, Daniel seems a weakling that could easily die if left alone and the Pilot guy he looks kick ass could take them all on but the fact he was meant to fly 815 I want to know why he didn't!

      A few weeks ago, I had this same exact issue. Unfortunately, I didn't think of disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version for my MB and it resolved the issue.

      I have a partial answer, when I used a multi-port usb hub I had degraded speed performance with 3 large external hard drives connected. I managed to snag a nice (yet older) USB3 based wavelink docking station cheap / used that has x6 usb 3 ports and almost doubled the speed of the external hard drives transfer rate.       Microsoft faces shareholder lawsuit over masking AI costs and slowing Azure growth by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft is facing a class action lawsuit from shareholders who allege that the company intentionally overhyped its artificial intelligence initiatives to distract from slowing cloud revenue and an exploding infrastructure bill. The complaint was filed in a Seattle federal court by the Michigan-based City of St. Clair Shores Police and Fire Retirement System. The plaintiffs argue that Microsoft’s leadership painted an overly optimistic picture of its Copilot rollout and complex OpenAI partnership. They say that the company did this while downplaying the harsh reality that building the data centers required to power these next-generation tools requires a huge amount of capital. Back at the company's Q2 2026 earnings report from late January, Microsoft revealed that its flagship Azure cloud growth had slipped to 39% (down from 40% the prior quarter) and guided investors to expect a further deceleration to 37% or 38% for the first three months of 2026. Now, under normal circumstances, a slight percentage point drop in cloud growth is a minor operational hiccup. But the Redmond giant paired that guidance with $37.5 billion in quarterly capital expenditures. This figure, which is a 66% year-over-year surge, blew past any analyst estimates at that time. Much of this amount went into buying high-priced GPUs and custom silicon that were required to train and run large language models. This is why the market reacted violently and just a day after its earnings call on January 29, the company's stock plummeted 10%, and wiped out $357 billion of capital in just a trading session. Microsoft is doing better now, though. Its Q3 2026 results showed its run rate from its AI business was hitting $37 billion, proving that enterprise demand for its infrastructure is very real and continuing to scale. Microsoft isn't the only company pouring billions into infrastructure for the AI boom.
