I wish there wasn't a fourth season and they just wrapped it up nicely this season.

uhhhhhh....this is the 4th season....

:blink:

I'd like them to make it into a normal-length season (22-24 eps), and then finish it up.

even if they wanted to do that this season it would be impossible due to the writers strike....

The ghostbuster changes Lost , up untill now the supernatural was hinted, now its official, this show does science, religion and the supernatural.

Science can explain all eventually, but untill it does, things like a ghostbuster remain in the supernatural realm.

I just saw the episode , wow... I was glad that Charlotte had a vest... was surprised to see her dead.

Also I have a feeling Naomi might be somewhat alive... every thing possible now.

I am possitive the new guys are not THE threat, Ben remains the evil one for me.

The polar bear in tunisia changes much as well, it shows the size and power of the group behind the island..... this is where the great statue we saw in seaosn 2 comes to play and also to some extent the smoke monster, I believe Ben truly has no idea what it is... I have a strong urge to think of Atlantis for some reason.

You are neglecting one posssibility. That Miles is a fraud.

Signs point to that.

The 'vacuum' was obviously a prop to help convince people.

He KNEW before he went into the boys room that there was money. Right away, he went to 'where is it?' The noise he heard could have been the heat coming on. And he thought 'oh I bet its in the vent'.

Also with Naomi, it would have been simple to turn her onto her side and see the knife wound that was exactly how they told him it was.

Completely impossible and I don't want that. I want them to continue doing exactly what they had planned.
True, and I wouldn't want it messed up, but I just feel that Lost goes on a bit too much sometimes. By all means I'm thrilled about season 4, but the first 1/3rd of season 3 made me yawn.

See, Lost is one massive series of episodes, so is Prison Break, but 24 is more what I like - each season is based on one "plot".

I hear ya about season three, the beginning of it, but Season 4 has turned out to be brilliant so far. Of course we're only two episodes in, but I am very optimistic about this season :yes:

Yeah I feel this season is gonna be an amazing season, I really wasn't stoked about the premiere thought that was a bit boring probably because I don't care about Hurley but this weeks was good.

Yeah i feel this season will answer alot of questions because of the 8 episode period, reckon it will be the best.

Well there was also the conversation he had with the boy, telling him to stop hanging around there, in which he was alone. Sure, it could've been for show, but I don't think that was the case.

It wasn't really a conversation. He came in and said "where is it". Something you might say outloud to yourself if you are looking for something.

And then 'you can leave now'. I believe with the door open, which might have been for the woman to hear.

Awesome :D

If I had the money I would buy one and just do it up like the Dharma van...of course it would never leave my house :laugh:

Yup, I knew it.

Lost nut confirmed :rofl:

Next week is so far away! :cry:

This is conversation, or lack thereof:

"You're not doing your grandmother any good staying here man. You're causing her a lot of pain. I... I want to go downstairs and tell her you're gone, but the only way I'm going to be able to do that is if you tell me where it is." *looks around* "So where is it?" *thump*

He also did his motions while in the bedroom by himself. Why go through all that trouble to convince the audience that he doesn't have if it's just a hoax?

He did say, "You can leave now", just as he opened the door, but the setup would've been where the lady would've probably barely heard it because he didn't shout it and the door had about a 10" opening, with him still in the room, as he said it, so I'm much more inclined to say he's legit.

Yeh, it was pretty obvious that the crash had somehow been covered up,

fake (at least not belonging to the official pilot, as he had been 'killed' by the 'monster') and it being underwater....

anybody catch who was supposed to have discovered this plane on the ROV's?

Naomi seemed to know the truth about the cover-up, with the black dude doing that thing where if you say it enough, people believe you....

Again, bit disappointed with the lack of answers, seems there still adding to the mystery.....first time i felt annoyed at the chaos of the story.

Was that a new badge on the polar bears collar, any idea what it symbolizes? (ie what station!)

do you think the flash's of the new characters (the dig, the crying and the ghostbuster) were forwards or backwards?

it could be;

crash->fake plane discovered->new arrivals->....

or

crash->new arrivals->some kind of get off->fake plane discovered->.....

Actually thinking about it, it must be the first as i think the video claimed there was no survivors, the oceanic (6?16?) must come later.

They were flashbacks because they have now arrived on the island, whereas before the were hearing about Flight 815 being found and there being no survivors, and finally later there is the Oceanic Six (not 16).

As for the DHARMA collar, it was the Hydra station logo. Linky.

I haven't read 'em, but I just still fail to see the point in revealing the whole meat of the episode. By no means does it help and I don't understand how it can't ruin the experience.

I read it but I am still stoked tho.

    • Sandboxie Plus 1.17.8 / Classic 5.72.8 by Razvan Serea Run programs in a sandbox to prevent malware from making permanent changes to your PC. Sandboxie allows you to run your browser, or any other program, so that all changes that result from the usage are kept in a sandbox environment, which can then be deleted later. Sandboxie is a sandbox-based isolation software for 32- and 64-bit Windows NT-based operating systems. It is being developed by David Xanatos since it became open source, before that it was developed by Sophos (which acquired it from Invincea, which acquired it earlier from the original author Ronen Tzur). It creates a sandbox-like isolated operating environment in which applications can be run or installed without permanently modifying the local or mapped drive. An isolated virtual environment allows controlled testing of untrusted programs and web surfing. Sandboxie is available in two flavors Plus and Classic. Both have the same core components, this means they have the same level of security and compatibility. What's different is the user interface the Plus build has a modern Qt based UI which supports all new features that have been added since the project went open source. The Classic build has the old no longer developed MFC based UI, hence it lacks support for modern features, these features can however still be used when manually configured in the Sandboxie.ini. Sandboxie Plus 1.17.8 / Classic 5.72.8 release notes: Added added DisableCustomTitleOpt=[process,][y|n] to allow [#] sandboxie title markers on custom-titlebar windows (Delphi VCL, Qt, Electron) that were previously skipped to prevent DWM repaint CPU loops #5387 Changed updated bundled ImDisk driver to 3.0.2 #5419 Fixed fix Suppress logs for expected non-user SIDs #5422 SbieSvc.exe: SBIE2218/2219 error when run program as administrator #5417 fixed explorer.exe crashes in Application Compartment when Huorong Security is installed #5423 Download: Sandboxie Plus (64-bit) | 23.5 MB (Open Source) Download: Sandboxie Classic (64-bit) | 3.0 MB Links: Sandboxie Website | GitHub | ARM64 | Screenshot Get alerted to all of our Software updates on Twitter at @NeowinSoftware
    • Hello, Christian Maas' XVI32 is a nice (and very small) hex editor. Speaking of hex editors, many years ago a colleague and I who both worked at Tribal Voice managed to edit a copy of the company's PowWow instant messaging client to make it behave better now that all of its lookup servers and other server-side tech was gone.  The program didn't support NAT (RFC-3022 was introduced in January 2001, the same time Tribal Voice was shuttered), but it still worked okay if you manually set up port-forwarding on your router.  The server at http://powwow.jazy.net/ hosts a copy (usual warnings about downloading and running untrusted code from random internet servers apply). I occasionally use some tools like Funduc Software's Search and Replace and Application Mover when I need to make mass-edits to text-based files or move programs with a hard-coded installation directories, respectively.  When I need to figure out the exact LCD panel inside of a laptop, EnTech Taiwan's Monitor Asset Manager is my go-to tool for that purpose. JD Design's website (now hosted on github.io) has a number of interesting freeware and shareware utilities.  I used to use their TouchPro utility to set the file timestamps on software I was mastering to match its version number (e.g., version 3.00 of a program had all of its files dates set to 3:00AM, and so forth). Karenware has a number of interesting freeware utilities, too. Regards, Aryeh Goretsky
    • I still use HexChat! Not really as ancient as the 1994 AutoCAD above my post, but I have never found anything better to replace it. Yes we still operate an IRC server https://www.neowin.net/irc/ 😛
    • At work we still have a couple of people that use a version of AutoCAD LT purchased in 1994. This predates Windows 95 and works fine on versions of Windows up to XP. Its long since run in an locked down isolated XP VM, accessible via RDP. I did install LibreCAD for them, however they said it was just too different to get to grips with. In all fairness one of them is now 75 and the other is almost 60.
