I think Jin lost his memory like Desmond

and works for the car campny but knows Jin and His Baby

They said she had a boy to jin but it was a girls

i dont understand the scene were he gives the Panda to the women who had the baby...was that Sun.

I don't follow what you're saying in the first part, but....

Jin's portion was a flashback. He was congratulating the Ambassador of China on his new grandson, so it wasn't son, it was the Ambassador's daughter.

Note, the year of the dragon was 2001.

Seems to me that Jins flashback was 2001 and Sun's was the future.

To me though, thats a lame trick by the writers and a poor episode.

I thought it was quite clever because even tho I read spoilers I didn't know Jins part was a flashback so I was generally surprised!

The year of the dragon was 2000 (2001 was the snake).

As has been noted several times now, it's clear it was a flash back and flash forward, how was the story execution not clever?

I think you mean genuinely :p

Nevertheless it's only LESS than 1 month in 2001 for it to qualify as Dragon... those little details aren't important I don't think.

All it means it IS a flashback, if Jin said "I am only married for 2 months"

Unless he is married to another Woman, besides Sun, in 2012

Why everyone is so sure that Jin is dead and it was the flashback not the flashforward? It doesn't make any sense to have the flashback just to fool people. Because Jin's story in this episode wasn't even interesting.

We know Jin was married once, and he said he was only married for two months. Also, the guy who sold him the Panda said it was the year of the dragon, which was 2000, possible very early 2001. We know it was a flashback.

I'm going to say that Jin is NOT one of the Oceanic Six. Just because there's a gravesite doesn't mean he got off the island. If Jin dies on the island and only Sun got off the island, it makes sense for her to have a funeral for Jin once she's home.

What I found interesting were the two facts we learned about Hurley:

1) He's got enough money to fly to Korea just to see Sun's baby

2) He doesn't want to see any of the other four Oceanic Six members...when Sun said no one else was coming, Hurley replied "Good."

Also, Sun seemed to be in a hotel room at the beginning of the episode. Why is she traveling?

I thought Jack mentioned something about free tickets in the end of season 3? He said something about a Golden Pass.

The way I understand it is this.

Sun is part of the Oceanic 6.

People still on the island manage to get off the island after the Oceanic 6 are rescued. However they aren't allowed to come public or slip into there old lives.

Sun doesn't know Jin's alive. Jin doesnt want to go back to Sun or has had his memory erased.

Now THAT'S an intriguing theory! (Y)

Are there any Hints/indication what year is it when Sun Delivered?

I already covered that. But again ...

DOC was around 10/25/04 (as stated in D.O.C.)

That means her flash forward took place roughly nine months later, 7/25/05.

Possibly Jin's tombstone was erected by his family in Korea when the plane crashed, in a memorial thinking they wouldn't recover his body? That could explain the dates.

Jin's family was poor, and his father lived in a small fishing village. Sun put up that tombstone. But again, that might only be to perpetuate the lie that there were no other survivors.

Heres a personal thought on the tombstone: Jin said in the episode that the man he was -- an 'enforcer' for Sun's father -- died when they came to the island. 9/22/04, the date on Jin's 'tombstone' is the date they came to the island, and thus would be the day 'the old Jin' died.

I think he is alive on the island. He did what it took to get Sun off, but doing so required him to stay.

Is there something that they have shown that makes you believe others (non Oceanic 6) got off the island that were from the flight?

Even so, he's still going to be on the show. Who knows how long it will be before Sun actually gets off the island? We could be seeing Jin around for a long time still.

Did you not notice preview for next week & spoilers said Someone from Oceanic 815 will die. It's gotta be him then! :(

    • It depends, but it's also going to push more adoption of open source AI models that can run locally, I'm seeing a pattern among the US and China when it comes to closed and open source AI models, they close when they feel they have the advantage, open up when they feel they don't. This has little to do with security and everything to do with control, the irony is that the ones that do go open and get the community behind them are the ones that have the real control, hence why we keep seeing this seesaw from closed to open. Ultimately, it's far too dangerous to let any one country or corporation to control AI, which is why open source AI or AI you can run locally on your hardware is very likely going to be the future of AI over the long run, this is especially the case as AI becomes more powerful and useful for user, privacy, security and censorship will become more of an issue for users and businesses.
    • A person should only be required to click through to an article if they want to know more details. The headline should give basic facts. A basic fact would include the name of the service being shut down.
    • That would probably be a good outcome, but it would also require other "features" be changed to comply, such as Auto play, scrolling, and advertising. Having the laws shift these platforms back to a socially responsible and useful places is a benefit for everyone. The addictive nature is the problem, and while many blame the individual, psychologists would suggest the platform is using a well trodden playbook to hook in more revenue..
    • It is in fact being discontinued in the US in July.
    • It was a rather nice rant as I rather dislike when people support the shitifcation of the Internet. My comment also factually applied the definition of "clickbait' to this headline unlike your comment. I have been reading this site for some 20 years now so I will call them out when they are doing carp they shouldn't be doing but thanks for your concern. You can't even do a search by headline anymore to do a quick search to find something because most of the titles lack all the relevant keywords that should be there.
