because if "The island doesn't want him to die" then The island have powers everywhere in the world and that just plain stupid imo.

Although it does sound far fetch even for Lost, I think the island does have powers outside the island. Tom can't be sure Michael won't try other ways to kill himself. If infact he did tampered with the gun.

Im just worry to post (after I get a moderator PM... After someone request to him to PM me... ) on this thread because anything I say will be labeled as inmature but its me or when the lastest ep start, when they say "previously on lost" and we see images of the other seasons, all of them looks a way younger. I mean, Jack looks like his own lil brother, the same with michael and no talking about Kate... The only who looks the same is Locke, heh.

I saying this because its supposed that they dont get older on that island and get cured of all the diseases they have.

Yeah for example if he went to throw himself in front of a train could Tom stop that?

I spose its cos actors age?

The headstone implied that he died in the plane crash, so that's obviously the cover story they told people. We know he survived the crash, and it's possible that he either died on the island, or is still alive and stayed on the island for some reason.

But why does Sun go to his grave when it says he did on Sep 22/04 which she knows is false.

AOL getting carried away?

I hope so. I sooo want a Danielle flashback.

Why is it so hard for you people to believe "The island doesn't want him to die?"

I remember reading somewhere that the writers had claimed that pretty much everything can be explained scientificially - bleeding edge science fiction but still science.

But, I dont see things like these being explained via science. I actually think scenes like these are just gonna be overlooked in the end and put down to co-incidence, like they did with the numbers thing. They created so much of hype around it and then put it down just to co-incidence.

This is probably posted!

Blake Bashoff had a post-death interview with Kristin from E!Online.

Where he mentions some minor spoilers and confirmed that:

1) He "thinks" Karl is dead

2) He mentions that there is a deleted scene from the end of the episode that clearly showed the snipers in "camouflage uniforms"

3) Producers told him that they "We hope to have you back in some capacity"

4) That he has a "sense" we have not seen the last of Rousseau

I doubt she would give up that easy.

Give up on what? We don't know the circumstances that lead to only those six being sent back, but we know that it was only those six and that it was probably made clear that they could never go back. We know that the story doesn't just end with the six getting off the island, that they'll be going back. There's literally nothing she can do except visit the only thing she has to resemble Jin. Now, it could work out that Jin does die and his body was brought back and buried, thus being one of the surviving eight, but ones that "Kate was unable to save."

I am not saying I am a gun expert, but I have owned and fired several pistols. Just exactly what part of the hammer do you guys think is faulty in that pistol Michael has?

I know almost diddly squat about guns...but in the pictures posted a page or two back, it definitely looks to not be there on his gun :p

I am pretty sure the hammer hits a pin that hits the ass end of the bullet (yes, that is the technical term ;)). I don't think the hammer has a pointy pin on it.

That could also be for the actor's safety...taking the pin out would make absolutely sure the gun cannot fire...avoiding mistakes and all that.

Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, co-executive producers of ABC's Lost, told SCI FI Wire that the current season's final batch of new episodes will unspool a story arc based on a plan devised in anticipation of the writers' strike.

"The last two weeks before the strike, we actually sat down and said, 'Here is what we want to tell for the rest of the season,'" Kitsis said in an interview. "We all sat down, and the entire staff came up with a battle plan in place."

When Lost returns in late April, it will wrap up the fourth season with five episodes, three fewer than planned before the strike took place. "We got to tell a little more story this season than we anticipated," Kitsis said. "It's really worked out well. We came back from the strike, and everyone is just really excited, and I have to say, creatively, every day has been a pleasure. Everything we're doing right now is exciting, and every script that is going out, you're jealous if you didn't write it."

As for the missing episodes? "I feel that the three missing episodes will be made up over the course of the next two seasons," Horowitz said. "Seasons four, five and six are meant to encompass 48 episodes."

Kitsis added: "I have a feeling it will mean more, like, two-hour shows as opposed to more episodes, but those are decisions above our pay grade."

Season four has so far been marked with a continuation of the "flash-forward" storytelling technique introduced in the finale of season three. "This just seemed like the most interesting way to tell the rest of the story of the show," Kitsis said. "When we realized that we were only going to do three more seasons, it enabled us to starting thinking a little more out of the box in how we want to tell the remaining story that was left. The flash-forwards are, I think, just a great way to keep the show energized and tell the story in an interesting way. It was a brilliant idea by [executive producer] Damon [Lindelof]."

In his most recent post, Ausiello mentions that Jack will get a centric episode this season. He does not confirm which episode, but I believe previous rumors state that Jack will get the season finale or part of it at least.

He also mentions what Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof told us this week in their most recent podcast, that this season finale's key moment is called "The Frozen Donkey Wheel".

I don't know about you guys, but that code name makes me laugh every time I think about it. Not because of what it could mean, but that Darlton would actually come up with something like that...!?

Also, is it me or did Ausiello's reader Holly ask him to answer a question other than Grey's or LOST and he completely did the opposite. Not sure if it was a typo, but here you go...the more LOST we get the better!!

Question: How about you answer questions about other shows besides Lost and Grey's Anatomy?? Holly

b>

Ausiello: You're going to make me choose between those two? OK, I pick Lost. In their weekly podcast, Team Darlton announced that the code name for this year's season-ending twist is "The Frozen Donkey Wheel." Interpret as you like. Oh, and here's the kicker: It's not even the last scene of the episode!Question: Jack is my constant. Will my constant get a centric episode this season? ? Laura

Ausiello: Yes.

Thanks to my friend Mike who is part of the ABC Advisory Panel who sent through the latest set of questions to me. One of them concerned Danielle's death as you can see below. Are ABC trying to gauge the response or is she really dead? Surely with episode 4.09 filmed and 4.10 currently being filmed it's a little late to be gauging the response if they plan to change the storyline.

Things are not looking good for the "crazy French chick".

1) We will learn "exactly" what happened to Michael between leaving the island and him getting to NYC.

2) Michael is a "pivotal" part of the end of the season and he will have an "impact" on many of the characters, including Sayid.

3) We will see how the Oceanic 6 "escaped the island" and what happens to those that don't leave.

4) The Team Locke v Team Jack debate about who is right will "amplify"

5) We will learn who is in the coffin

6) More about the freighter people

7) We will also find out who "seemingly killed" Karl and Rousseau

Will be awesome to learn these things!
