It's only been about two weeks since the finale, so Mr. Friendly being killed occurred after he gave Michael instructions. It doesn't explain where they finally hit land or how they were "rescued," but they made it and have hidden that fact. In a way it was a flash forward since it's post crash, but compared to the "current" time, it was a flashback. I'm curious about who shot Carl and Russo... I'll say the freighter people since the helicopter was missing. We also know the why to Michael being the spy. More answers than questions, yay!

Great episode, too bad for the break :(

And confirmed: Aaron is one of the six. Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sayid, Sun and Aaron. This makes it all the more likely that Michael was the one in the coffin, and far less likely that it was Locke. It's still possible that it is Ben, but at the moment, Michael is the heavy favorite.

They killed my favorite character... I'm honestly a little ticked off. The French Lady

I'll pull one of those.... I don't have a name for it, but: We saw her shot, but just because she fell doesn't mean she's dead! Blah blah blah.

Can't wait for more :D

A pretty decent episode, but I was honestly expecting more. The flashback was quite obviously a flashback and not a flashforward.

I would be pretty ****ed off if Danielle dies. She should get atleast 1 danielle flashback. I wanna know more about her.

As far as who shot is concerned.. I think its the others. Ben said the Temple is meant only for the Others. Hence, the others shot Danielle. But ofcourse the big flaw in this is that they also shot Carl - who isnt an outsider. But it would explain why they didnt shot Alyx.

Danielle hasn't contributed to the plot for a while so killing her wouldn't make much of a difference. However, it could be possible that she wasn't killed or that the Island heals her. Karl, however, is dead.

I think the other's killed them. The reason is because of Alex. They killed Karl because Ben is afraid that he will get Alex pregnant and thus kill her. They killed Danielle because with her dead, Alex will go back to her "Father". Ben has shown that he is very possessive and he thinks of her as his daughter and wouldn't be willing to let her go with her mother. My opinion though so take it as you will.

I don't know what to think after this episode.

Same

I thought Libby's backstory was going to be answered and the crazy shootings at the end....

Episode 4.09 - Trailer

Memory of the Day: Remember when I said we'd see a little less of Matthew Fox this season? Just checking.

Claire Is in Trouble. Not only do we know that baby Aaron makes it off the island and she does not, but the promos clearly spell out trouble for the fair-haired mamacita. "The War" as Ben calls it, seems to have begun. (Then again, if Ben the pathological liar calls it a war it's probably more of a bake-off.)

Lost Is Taking a Mini Break. When it returns April 24, we get an episode written by Buffy alum Drew Goddard who teased at tonight's Buffy Paley event that the episode is "maybe my favorite thing I've done on Lost and I've been lucky with all the episodes I've gotten so far." Sounds promising, right?

Also...

I'm Heading to the Lost Set Next Week! If you have questions for the Losties, please take a moment to email them to me at [email protected]. I won't be chatting with everyone, but will be tracking down whomever I can, and you know I aim to serve! So send those Q's in, por favor.

Check back a little later tomorrow for an exclusive Q&A with Karl himself, Blake Bashoff, who'll be reaching out from the other side, God rest his soul.

I'm really happy with that episode, its about time we got some answers!

- You can't kill yourself off the island, the island won't allow it

- The top others can get off the island when they like

- The others allowed Walt to go back to normal life

- People who aren't the oceanic 6 are allowed off the island, but can't reveal themselves due to the press of it

- Getting off the island does not equal the end of that characters saga

What I really liked about it was the fact they finally confirmed the island is magical, atleast now we know theres no point trying to find some scientific explanations to what things are (smokie, the room with what you want in it).

Surpose so, it just seemed like something was wrong with that episode. I expected to see more of Walt, or how they actually left the island, was there any point that Libby was showing up? Just seemed a bit of a let down.

That trailer that peewee posted OMG thats the war that the on set photos say happens...wonder who shots danielle tho and karl I was thinking that bloke with the gun o the freighter

Yeah apparently one of the houses was on fire, so when Hurley shouted "Is that Claires house?" [while holding Arron], maybe its her house on fire? Well the the chopper is no longer on the boat, so yeah it could be him.

Oh well, 5 week break now :(

Guys and Gals what you think of this please answer

is it me or is this season more harder to follow meaning the writers not making it easy to figure out the episode that you are so clueless at the end that you need to see the next episode or the season finale or series finale to see the puzzle come together.Bottom line is this season more harder to follow than the previous season because you are going in the future and in the past and in the present and etc.

    • A few weeks ago, I had this same exact issue. Unfortunately, I didn't think of disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version for my MB and it resolved the issue.
    • I have a partial answer, when I used a multi-port usb hub I had degraded speed performance with 3 large external hard drives connected. I managed to snag a nice (yet older) USB3 wavelink hub that had about x6 usb 3 ports and almost doubled the speed of the external hard drives transfer rate. This looks to be a slightly upgraded model -https://ebay.io/m/LZtjTy
    • Microsoft faces shareholder lawsuit over masking AI costs and slowing Azure growth by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft is facing a class action lawsuit from shareholders who allege that the company intentionally overhyped its artificial intelligence initiatives to distract from slowing cloud revenue and an exploding infrastructure bill. The complaint was filed in a Seattle federal court by the Michigan-based City of St. Clair Shores Police and Fire Retirement System. The plaintiffs argue that Microsoft’s leadership painted an overly optimistic picture of its Copilot rollout and complex OpenAI partnership. They say that the company did this while downplaying the harsh reality that building the data centers required to power these next-generation tools requires a huge amount of capital. Back at the company's Q2 2026 earnings report from late January, Microsoft revealed that its flagship Azure cloud growth had slipped to 39% (down from 40% the prior quarter) and guided investors to expect a further deceleration to 37% or 38% for the first three months of 2026. Now, under normal circumstances, a slight percentage point drop in cloud growth is a minor operational hiccup. But the Redmond giant paired that guidance with $37.5 billion in quarterly capital expenditures. This figure, which is a 66% year-over-year surge, blew past any analyst estimates at that time. Much of this amount went into buying high-priced GPUs and custom silicon that were required to train and run large language models. This is why the market reacted violently and just a day after its earnings call on January 29, the company's stock plummeted 10%, and wiped out $357 billion of capital in just a trading session. Microsoft is doing better now, though. Its Q3 2026 results showed its run rate from its AI business was hitting $37 billion, proving that enterprise demand for its infrastructure is very real and continuing to scale. Microsoft isn't the only company pouring billions into infrastructure for the AI boom. We've seen most Big Tech companies, including Amazon and Google, also get the results of these **** with stronger-than-ever growth and increased income. via Reuters
