Good episode. Tying the future together.

The island does seem to have power over off-island events as well, as some of us speculated.

But "It's way too early for Chinese." may just be the greatest line of all time.

Yeah I loved that line!

I thought it was a "meh" episode for me it was alright and pieced a few things together but one I will probably easily forget.

From the promo

Holy mother...is that Horace! and I lol'd at "thats probably because I have been dead 12 years" but I thought the purge was way before that so that meant Dharma was operational in 1992-1993

Yup! Well my guess him being the teacher in the flashback is wrong.

Got this from dude in the comment box on the site.

The Dharma Initiative was founded in 1970, and Ben was at least 8-9 years old when he came to the island. If the Purge was 12 years before the whole Oceanic 815 debacle, that'd place it at around 1992. Ben was in his early 30s at the time, so that'd place him somewhere in his early 40s in the present time.

Yeah seemed about right strange thing tho the purge thing you look at it and you could say it looks like its the 70's or something just lost in time so to speak.

Except for Through the Looking Glass, which likely occurs after last night's flash forward. He first starts taking medication, of which he was hooked in Through the Looking Glass.

thats right! didnt even think about that ff. awesome how it all lines up

Some of you probably know this but the scene where Jack and Kate meets at the airport is after their proposal, they split...

Well yeah. The whole key to putting the flashforwards in order is the growth of Jack's beard. When he goes to see Hurley in the first episode this season he tells him he's thinking of growing a beard, then by the time we get to "WE HAVE TO GO BAAAAACK!" Jack from last seasons finale he has the full LumberJack thing going on.

Mira Furlan asked to be written out

Also, there is an interview with Mira Furlan's husband from a Croatian magazine which states that Mira Furlan asked to be written out of the show because she didn't like constantly being in Hawaii. Her husband also states that she might be back for the next season.

"Why did your wife stopped shooting ''Lost?''?

She got bored of Hawaii. She got ''island fever'' - that's how cast of Lost calls it in joke. Simply, she didn't want to be on that island, she didn't want to work that job, so she made a deal with the producers to kill her character off.

How did they kill her off?

Shot her. But, her character is pretty popular with fans of the series, so they leaved possibility for comeback next season."

So the flash-forwards are going.. backwards... ?....

KATE: (Sighs) I was doing something for him.

JACK: For who?

KATE: For Sawyer. I made him a promise. It... (sighs)

JACK: (sighs) What?

KATE: It doesn't matter. It has nothing to do with us.

JACK: Then why won't you tell me?

KATE: Because--because he wouldn't want me to.

JACK: But he's not here, is he? No. No, he made his choice. He chose to stay. I'm the one who came back. I'm the one who's here. I'm the one who saved you.

KATE: Jack. (Sniffles) You can't--you can't do this. If you have problems, you need to figure them out. All right? 'Cause I can't have you like this around my son.

JACK: Your son? You're not even related to him!

So Sawyer is still on the island? If so, is he "jumping" to where Kate and Jack is? Is he phoning from the island?

And that last line, I guess Jack finds our that Aaron is his nephew.

Oh, when Jack first sees Kate on the phone, and wonders who it was... Why didn't Jack just *69 or 'redial'? I guess he wasn't thinking clearly after seeing Hurley.

Who said anything about Sawyer being off the of island period?

Maybe, maybe not. He knows who the mom is, but at this point we still never find out if Jack and Claire discover they are siblings.

Not everyone has a feature like that, and perhaps the person called Kate (in which there's caller id, but these are trivial things to bring up).

So Sawyer is still on the island? If so, is he "jumping" to where Kate and Jack is? Is he phoning from the island?

What makes you think it was Sawyer on the phone? He could have asked her to do something (maybe contact Clementine's mom...Kate does know her) before she left the island.

Good promo (Y)

Kristin News

Alexandre in Toulon, France: Kristin! God I lose my French accent when I saw Jack and Kate hooked up! what happened? Please tell me it was a nightmare and Kate's heart still belongs to Sawyer!

Hee! Sorry, I had to include this question, 'cause it cracks me up. Who knew a TV show could make you lose your accent? But I hear you, mon petit fromage! Here's the thing: That spectacular kiss is still coming. In the season finale. Only a few weeks away. So let's all sit tight, OK?

Ally in Ireland: Please tell me Sawyer doesn't die...He isn't one of the Oceanic 6?

Right, he's not. But Sawyer doesn't die. He's alive. On the Island.

Heather in Taos, N.M.: Is Locke still alive on the Island in the future? He has to be, right?

Yes. He is.

Episode 4x11 Cabin Fever - Sneak Peek 3

Geez, I've gone this whole season pretty much spoiler free and let me tell you, it's alot harder to put the puzzle together by yourself than with an online community dedicated to tear this show apart. I think it'll be worth it in the end though.

Same here, but I have to say, I've enjoyed each episode more not knowing what's going to happen than already knowing who dies, who lives, who gets off the island and who doesn't. This has become my new favorite season just because it was more exciting to me not knowing and finding out while watching the episode.

According to the open letter, “this action has taken the best models away from [cybersecurity] defenders” who now can’t use the models to find vulnerabilities and make their software and products more secure. “To pull the best capabilities away from defenders without a good reason when our adversaries are rapidly advancing is dangerous,” read the letter. On Friday, the U.S. government ordered Anthropic to limit the export of Fable and Mythos, citing national security concerns, without explaining the specific reasons behind the order, according to Anthropic. In response, the company suspended access to the models to all users worldwide.     https://techcrunch.com/2026/06/15/cybersecurity-vets-protest-dangerous-us-government-ban-on-anthropics-most-powerful-models/
