So the boat is for Charles Whidmore, so is he somehow connected to Dharma? We know Charlotte is because of her flashback, but what about Whidmore?

Whidmore is not connected to Dharma. In the last epsiode (4.05) it shows him and Desmond at a auction. Being auctioned is a ships log (or something of the like) from the 1700s describing their voyage to the island?

Can't believe "The Constant" was the best episode of season 4 so far and it has lowest ratings.

If Neilson media is fair, give ALL Lost fans a Box, that would certainly change!

Don't believe it. It's all the Average Joes that just can NOT understand the Smart/Time Travel plots, I say!

When they saw Daniel doing all those calculations, it hurts their brains... they switch to something Brainless to watch!

I told you guys its michael....

There isn't enough evidence to say that Widmore isn't involved with DHARMA. Quite possibly, he wanted the log because they knew it had the location of the island in it, or something of that sort.

This theory has convinced me that this is what the show is all about. It's very well thought out.

Agreed, we don't have enough information to conclude that he isn't, or ever was, involved with DHARMA.

It certainly has a lot of verbage. Doesn't make the theory correct. In fact, because it is so deep to explain, that disproves it. They'd need a season 7 just to explain it to the average viewer. And it would consist of Jacob sitting in his cabin telling everyone wtf it was.

Interesting ep, nothing special, we have discovered abit about ben... and Juliet but i only like her for the beach scene todays ep :p

not the best but up there with some others... once again ben has manipulated locke... interesting...

i really wonder how bad [GLaDOS]The neuro-toxin gas[/GLaDOS] actually is :p

Bad enough it can wipe out the whole island and did once with the purge.

I don't think Lost has many "average" viewers to worry about. At least not what you're referring to as average users. Most people, IMO, or at least people I know, that watch Lost are fairly intelligent people. Anyone who wouldn't really understand, or at least grasp the concept of that theory probably isn't watching the show to begin with, or least stopped watching it long ago.

Lost isn't for the "average" user, never was meant to be I don't know. Lost is way to complicated with the flash forwards, flash backs, time travel, smoke monsters, polar bears on a South Pacific island, etc. for an "average" user to follow. I was reading an article in some entertainment magazine recently that was talking about the Lost audience and it was trying to explain why Lost doesn't do well with ratings, yet is an extremely popular show and it is simple, it has a very dedicated fan base, just like American Idol. The difference is, you don't need a brain to watch American Idol, you do with Lost.

Nice (Y) <---Hurley thumbs up

That's true, I didn't think of that possibility.

Say you wrote it! hahaha

LOST Spoilers About Michael, Walt and Time Travel

Here are the latest LOST Spoilers from Kristin at E! Online.

This is a video clip that also includes spoilers for a few other shows, but the LOST spoilers are first.

The spoilers are centered around Michael's return and Episode 4x08 Meet Kevin Johnson.

Not much new, but there is a confirmation about time travel with Desmond, Michael and Walt. Also, that Michael is indeed Ben's man on the boat.

1) Michael, Desmond and Tunisian Polar Bear been "bounced around time and space".

2) We will find out why Walt is so tall and why he keeps showing up on the island, also because of time travel.

3) Michael was sent by Ben on a mission, thus is his man on the boat.

Should be awesome (Y)

That's the REASON why Desmond's episode was Lowest rated!

What about you?

Are you the Average viewer or the smarter ones? ;)

But, going thru all those theories, I have to say it's DAMN close!

Out of all the Other theories, this one is the BEST/MOST likely!

And, no, because it's SO deep, it DOESN'T disprove it either!

And, I DON'T care if other people Don't get/understand it. Grow some brain people, or it's your loss!

This show was meant to be Deeper, smarter than other shows, and if people still don't get that by now... they are watching the Wrong show! :p

There was a Co-worker she watchs Lost (NOT the same one I am going to show the theory too), but doesn't get it! She think the men are hot, and Hawaii is a great location, and curious the babies/children well-being on the island "What happened to the children?" She ask me like almost every week?

"I don't know. OK? They are living with the others. But that's all I know" I tell her. LOL :D

Maybe they are being experimented on! :ermm:

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
