Why can't Moore be an ass like LOST producers and extended BSG to a couple of more seasons to make some extra money!

I'm going to miss BSG :(

Better to have it go out as a great series than keep going. When the producers of Lost were told it was picked up for a second series their first thought was "**** what are we going to do now".

Really? You find BSG to be better than Heroes? BSG doesn't compare imho.

Anywho, there's no finalized date, but rumor has it that the fourth season will be split between 2008 and 2009, 10 episodes each. This, however, doesn't make a lick of sense because seasons shouldn't be split up like that. If true, it should be considered a fourth and fifth season, with 10 episodes each. No matter, the rumor is it'll start in February with Razor giving you a fix in November until then.

Heroes was a let down, maybe because it was too short for the story line, and need more time to tell it, but BSG, is just the best. REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS SEASON

I don't know what to say about the last episode. :ermm:

I read an interesting perspective on this... (http://sepinwall.blogspot.com/2008/04/battlestar-galactica-six-of-one-rules.html)

"On "Battlestar Galactica," Ron Moore gives his writers a lot more rope, such that, if you've been watching the show long enough and paying close enough attention to the writing credits, you can figure out who wrote each episode even before the credit turns up. You can assume, for instance, that any episode with a heavy focus on military protocol and lore will be from the David Weddle/Bradley Thompson team, just as you can tell that any episode where the characters stand around delivering speeches psycho-analyzing themselves and the people around them will be from the keyboard of Michael Angeli."

Also, I can't remember the source, but I read somewhere that Sci-Fi wanted more stand alone format episodes which Ron Moore attempted to give them last season, which is why we had so many bad ones that felt drawn out and going nowhere. Ratings actually declined, and Sci-Fi admitted that the story of BSG that he attempts to tell does not work well with the stand alone episode format. So look for season four to be more like season one and two and for two or three progressive storylines to playout throughout the season rather than each episode attempting to be a self-contained story as season three format. I also sneaked some peaks at imdb.com and it appears we may be seeing some new regular characters as well as the return of Ramo Lampkin soon, so don't place your bets on the fifth cylon too soon.

You know that whole internet forum notion that the Lost writers didn't know where the show was going is a myth, right?

Are you referring to season one or two? BSG the best? Don't get me started on that silliness....

Same for Prison Break. The first season was brilliant, but the second season just lacked the originality of the first.

Are you seriously going to come into a thread full of BSG fans and proclaim out loud that it's not a great show and not expect SOMEONE to think you're just trolling?

Heroes is good, BSG is good, what more do you want?

Another good but uneventful episode of BSG, it certainly painted an image of things to come. I didn't see the Cally bit coming, but I had suspicions as the good and evil nature of the human cylons after the split vote, the show has always had a routine of "skinjobs" for and against humanity, looks like our final five will be picking sides as well.

Just watched tonites episode, wow!

interesting happenings.

Can we soon find out if Calley is the final cylon?

Honestly, I doubt it because was she not on Galactica when the calling was made?

It's really to bad if she's gone because I thought she (Cally / Nicki Clyne) was the cutest chic on BSG, other than Sharon (Grace Park) of course.

Good episode tonight, will have to watch it again later tonite.

Trolling? No. I like BSG, which is why I still watch it. I never "proclaimed out loud" that it's not a great show. It's entertaining enough, and the effects are well done for a TV show, but "the best thing on TV"? That I will laugh at, but it does its job, which is to entertain.

damn it... I just finish this ep... Wow... Time to time they do something like this. They recall you that this is NOT lost. BSG is not an easy series, btw. And is not for everyones.

The other day I was thinking about that cheef might have an hybrid son. But I didnt expect an end like this. And less this with Callie... F uckin sh it... I REALLY didnt expect that.

When I saw her comming to that place I thought for a second that would be even worse. But for sure I didnt expect that.

Its a great series and is better go (away) in the top than fading out...

Yep, I definitely think their is going to be another Cylon civil war on both the human fleet and Cylon fleet. Galen is going to do something to Troy for sure (i.e. revenge), hence Tigh is going to have to choose which side he wants (defend humans or defend his Cylon counterparts).

It looks like the planet where Kara "died" in is where she is taking them too. Also, she drew LIGHT ships (crystal shapes) when she was painting, maybe the 13th fleet's ship?

It was somewhat unexpected how Callie got suked into space. I thought she was going to commit suicide, and then that cylon was actually going to help her. Then BAM, knocked her out cold, flushed her out into space saving the baby. My question is how can a cylon have a baby with a human?

As for Starbuck, she'll find what she's looking for, which will lead to the end of the season most likely.

Oh, it's been aired so save the comments about spoilers. It was already aired. It's on the website if you care to watch it. ;)

Aired in AMERICA, maybe, but everyone else on the planet isn't so lucky.

And as for your question, what about Hera? That's a cylon hybrid baby, too.

I really didn't expect that. It's a shame, I really liked her as well :(

Humanoid Cylons are humans in a biological sense. The only difference is their behaviour can be controlled either genetically or by some other means. As for the episode, the ending was totally unexpected.

As I said, it is on the website. So it isn't about being lucky, it's about taking your lazy butt to www.scifi.com to watch BSG.

As for the baby, I begining to think that maybe the real story is that humans built robots which later became cyborgs which wanted to be more human like to the point of actually becoming human who later built robots which later become cyborgs which want to become human who later build robots.....

The premise of the first episode of BSG stated that it all had happened before and will happen again.

Probably because Sci-fi works in canada and the US (they do produce a lot of their shows there, formally because it was cheaper than doing it in the US) so I guess it's easier to get distribution deals and such.

Because we have to wait longer for the stuff, usually broadcast by BSkyB a few months later, they probably negotiate with Sci-fi not to show them on their website so they don't lose viewers.

OmG I hope not. Scifi does not need to work any deals with BSkyB, they would lose US/Canada viewers over it.

    • Microsoft admits one of the most crucial Outlook features is currently broken by Sayan Sen Microsoft is making some decent progress when it comes to Windows 11. Recently we have confirmed reports of some rather useful improvements landing in the next version of the OS, 26H2, wherein GPU driver TDR crashes may finally be fixed, plus the company is also allowing users to disable web content on the Search. On the Outlook front though things have not been so rosy. Last month in May we reported several problems affecting basic functionalities on the app. These included a problem where documents would open blank or corrupt themselves. Following that, Quick Steps, a very useful feature, would no longer work correctly, and finally, Microsoft acknowledged a problem wherein images would fail to load up properly inside the email. Microsoft had resolved those bugs later and almost exactly a month after we reported on them, the company has now admitted a new similarly basic issue, this time on Macs. Users recently started noticing that Outlook would no longer display email threads properly as the original message itself was not displayed. An affected user Tsoumpas, C (ngmb) nicely described the problem in a forum post they made on Microsoft's site. They wrote: "Description of the issue: After updating Outlook for Mac [Version 16.110 (26061317)] on 18/6/2026, replying to any email no longer includes the original message in the reply window. Prior to the update, replies correctly contained the original email text below my response. Expected behavior: The original message should be included in the reply, as in previous Outlook versions and according to the configured reply settings. Actual behavior: The reply window contains only a blank composition area (or only my response), with none of the original email text included." Obviously this must be a highly frustrating for users as noted by several in that thread. The post, at the time of writing, has also been upvoted by more than 40 users indicating that is a fairly widespread bug. Thankfully Microsoft seems to have acknowledged the problem right around that time as it opened a new issue on its official website. In the support article, the company recommends switching to Outlook for Mac from the legacy app, where the problem appears to be happening.
