I can see Zarek being a cylon.

I thought the ending was to the mid finale great. Not really expecting them to reach earth so fast.

Question I like to see solved.

@final cylon

@importance of starbuck (lead them to doom and gloom)

@importance of the hybrids.

@Who is the hybrid that was saying starbuck will lead the human race to death (in razor movie) (i thought it looked a bit like the doctor)

@the res hub was destroyed but was that the only one? I know one before was destroyed.

@what happens to all the cylons on the main planets? Did they populate or just stay around to wipe the human race and then follow again?

one of the first hybrids, probably the first, who escaped during the first cylon war and proceeded in separate ways from the other cylons

@the res hub was destroyed but was that the only one? I know one before was destroyed.

Before, they destroyed a Resurrection Ship. I guess the Hub was the central... well, hub of all the ships.

Given that knowledge, I assume they would have more than one Resurrection Ship, right? Did they all just stop working when the Hub was destroyed? You think the Cylons would be smarter than that.

...Then again, to quote the opening: "They have a plan." That could very well be part of it: becoming more human.

We never really did see what their "plan" was, did we? I mean they had a plan to wipe out humanity, they executed that half way through the pilot. After that, they just sort of...chased them around a bit.

Nooo, they weren't just chasing them around. Cylons decided Earth will be their new home. :)

That was the plan, to chase the humans around the universe because it beats sitting in one place waiting for things to happen when you are a robot who lives for thousands of years. That plan seemed to change now to include going to earth with the humans and copulating with the humans. :)

I wouldn't mind a couple Sharons in my bed. ;)

I wonder if I should change my name to SakNeptune and re-engineer your sig. :)

Gaeta is in the fleet, so that would rule him out.

We still don't know if that's true; again, D'Anna could've just said that to confuse Roslin. Or to remove 'focus' from the fifth.

Or, like I suggested earlier... Maybe D'Anna just didn't recognize the fifth. I mean, she can't know EVERY single face in the fleet, right? It could very well be someone in the fleet that she just hasn't met.

You're making some hefty assumptions based on irrational story telling. I don't think Moore is a great story teller, but I don't think he's that bad either. It's way too easy to just fall on the conclusion that D'Anna simply lied for no logical reason. Besides, there were multiple copies of every Cylon, and given that they're not human, knowing every single face really shouldn't prove to be that difficult to conceive, especially for those who are in the fleet (since there are more non-military people than military). Gaeta also assisted Baltar when he was president, so Gaeta would be more known than Anders, who was known.

2nd part of season to be extended? Series Finale to be 3 hours long?

SCI FI Channel is unable to confirm a report in the Chicago Tribune that the final part of Battlestar Galactica's last season will expand or that the finale of the series is expected to be three hours long.

The channel will only say that the finale, written by series creator Ronald D. Moore, extends beyond the time allotted for the episode.

The channel is currently exploring how to shoot the extra footage as Moore has envisioned and written it. No premiere date has been announced yet for the start of the second half of the fourth and final season.

Scifi Wire

All along I've suspected Balthar as the final Cylon, but can't recall if he was ever directly exposed the virus in Measure of Salvation (season 3). If so, and he obviously survived, then he can't be a Cylon since the virus is lethal to them. Helo and Apollo would be eliminated from the running for final Cylon since they were part of the boarding party that discovered the virus-laden probe on the infected Basestar.

They found a probe left by one of the original settlers of earth, it was in a nebula they found (I think it was the same one that had an "eye). The cylons that got infected all died, sharon survived because of her baby producing an antibody or something.

It was actually an old disease that humans had developed an immunity to decades ago.
