Played now for a few (reached level seven) before the server shutdown for maintenance and so far, the game doesn't really makes me want to play it that much. But still too early to complain. And, it was free, so nothing really to complain about too.

Will play a bit more when the servers going to return and see how it goes.

at work and haven't been on in a bit, though.

Krandar and Raincat are mine. I have a few on another server but my friend that was playing stopped playing so I switched.

And worthless. When you finally get in game, you got a game stopping lag and then you get kicked of the server.

Don't have that problem. I'm guessing the beginner areas are overcrowded

Looks like I may have to suit up on a new server until the traffic levels out. That queue was ridiculous, but the game played fine past that.

Oooh, looks like all the servers are hosed queue-wise at the moment hahah. They'll probably have to add more.

Check your settings, but it's a pretty easy game to get into. If my friend is anything to go by, avoid the mage for soloing...but I don't know if that's really helping. He's kinda hopeless.

uninstall the media booster thing after the install is complete, which will also allow you to remove the download files from your desktop. i'm not sure if the media boost bandwidth use gets reduced for lotro or not, but i did notice lag in other games during the time i had it installed after downloading and installing lotro. it runs hidden at start up but it can be found in programs and features.

I like it a lot, not going to give it up soon that is for sure. It would be even better if there were more players but that doesn't bother me at all. :cool:

Stopped playing this at the end of '09 - got rid of all my chars (had 3 level 65s) and a fair few alts. Tempting to start up again. How many EU players are there here? :) I used to be on Snowbourn when i played and it was a very populated server.

I play on EU servers, Snowbourn too

The Queues for testing on the EU servers F2P were in the thousands, I take that as a good sign

Judging by the US launch, the F2P servers will probably be massively overloaded when it goes final but it'll even out afterwards.

I tried playing this game, but the human starting area was so... boring that i quit after a few minutes. I have a feeling i would enjoy this game but i just can't stand the UI/action bar, and it seems no one has made huge mods to said bar even with LUA being released.

They reworked the intro and yeah, it just seems worse. The actual starting area is alright.

Started playing lotro when it came F2P, so far I'm enjoying it. Not playing it hardcore but I'm a lvl16 Hunter, fairly easy to solo...
