New version of Gmail released

The new version of Gmail is now available to me. Things I've noticed so far is a change in GChat and prefetching of messages for quick loading. I'm probably going to stick to the old version though until the Greasemonkey scripts are updated to work with the new version. Anyone else get the new version and any thoughts?

The loading is much faster, which is fantastic. Tweaks to the interface to further include Google Talk. Even when I set the page to not have Google Talk embedded, there are still fragements of it left in the interface.

Be warned, the changes are very subtle. Mostly font changes.

I don't notice much difference.

1. On login, when it says "loading," the text is now bold.

2. You should "Older version" to the top right of the UI.

3. No new version for safari. It works for Firefox though.

For reference, I've had my account since ~April 2005.

Okay guys here it is. There is a toggle at the top which i circled in red that will say either "Newer version" if you are using the old gmail or "Older version" if you are currently using the new gmail version. There are hardly any noticeable changes that i see. The contacts area is modified a bit but I dont see anything big yet. Over time, there probably will be more changes made though would be my guess. And yes I whited out all of my emails and personal info.
