Lee G. Veteran Posted October 30, 2007 Veteran Share Posted October 30, 2007 I don't have anything new either, and I signed up only 2 months after initial release! Haha, same here. I don't see anything at the moment. I was kinda hoping by 'new version' it would mean it would be a larger change. I am hoping that Google will declutter Gmail a bit, as it's definitely become more cluttered since its release in 2004.
osirisX
+1 for no IMAP :(

martin10018
Okay guys here it is. There is a toggle at the top which i circled in red that will say either "Newer version" if you are using the old gmail or "Older version" if you are currently using the new gmail version. There are hardly any noticeable changes that i see. The contacts area is modified a bit but I dont see anything big yet. Over time, there probably will be more changes made though would be my guess. And yes I whited out all of my emails and personal info. You should clean up your inbox...

statm1
Alittle disappointing that one of the leaders on the Gmail team said that they would never do a complete overhaul, totally changing the interface.. Anything they do will be gradual and dynamic.. I was kind of hoping for at least a few tweaks to the inbox UI.. But I guess the backend rewrite and the new contacts manager is better than nothing.. nemo
Nothing for me either with any of the 3 gmail accounts I have. I signed my gf up for gmail over the summer and she got IMAP on day one. She only uses gmail through Outlook (POP), so that probably had something to do with it
