Looks like I am faster than Rappy. :p Chuck is coming back and on Firiday nights. :/

I've confirmed this is a 2009/2010 schedule that may be the final one, but is one that NBC is definitely considering. As I expected, it has Chuck returning. Though I do find it surprising that the network would put critical hit Southland on Friday night, usually considered dead air. The last I heard about Law & Order, the financial wrangling for the show with Dick Wolf is settled. But the series probably won't get a full order and will just fill in gaps in the schedule later on.

MONDAY -- TRAUMA, Heroes, Leno

TUESDAY -- Biggest Loser, Law & Order: SVU, Leno

WEDNESDAY -- Biggest Loser, PARENTHOOD, Leno

THURSDAY -- 30 Rock, P&R, Office, COMMUNITY, Leno

FRIDAY -- Chuck, Southland, Leno

SATURDAY -- Re-runs

SUNDAY -- Football

SUNDAY (January) -- Dateline, Apprentice, MERCY

Looks like its going to be on a night where there are not a lot of viewers. :( At least that stupid show, Howie, is dead.

Maybe if it was put with Southland it has a chance. Everybody was supposed to be loving that so if they are back to back, maybe it can get a boost.

Southland was doing alright but nothing spectacular...I remember Las Vegas was put on Fridays and it just died and went away I feel that Southland and Chuck will do the same....prove me wrong viewers!

At least it is getting a new season. No word on the total number of episodes it will get? Hopefully it'll be a full season so that the writers can really get a lot of meat in their story and possibly wrap things up if NBC decides they won't renew.

Two very different shows that pull very different audiences. I'll take it a step further in that Southland is, at a cursory glance, just another cop show and probably won't last with a move to Friday either. It actually isn't a bad show and has slowly gotten better, but you have to give it time to grow an audience. Putting Chuck near it, and either show on Friday is a bad move UNLESS the network are going to start taking DVR data more seriously. I have not watched live TV on purpose in over 5 years, I have been time shifting and commercial skipping with my DVR for a long time and will not stop any time soon. I assume I'm still not in the majority on this behavior, but the idea of appointment TV is dead and networks need to take that seriously. The more network shows that get dropped the more I look to cable (The Shield, Resuce Me, BSG), premium cable (Weeds, The Wire, Dexter) and more movies and games. Even with cable shows I don't usually watch them live and often catch them on DVD/BD after the fast now.

I love Chuck and am willing to give Southland time to evolve, but Friday doesn't seem wise to me at all.

Alright I watched Episode 21 and 22 again and I found a flaw. When Chuck was told by his dad to open his eyes when the images were flashing, Orions eyes was also open while the images were flashing. Then in episode 22 Orion flashed, wtf? If he had his eyes open wouldn't his intersect be gone also?

he said in the same episode he designed that wipe for Chuck so it would probably only affect Chuck's version of the intersect not necessarily every version.

Well did Orion actually say when he was flashed? I mean if not he could have actually been flashed when Chuck was "unflashed", and he did it on purpose because he knew someone had to have the intersect in them until the new one is built.
