F.Y.I: 2 Sub Forums + Mod added

Gamers Hangout now has 2 sub forums called:

Console Gamers

PC Gamers

We have also appointed a new moderator for that forum who has been on Neowin a long while and is a great bloke all round, silly_walk

Okay, what are the perks in being a moderator?

A. You're Always on the Board.

B. People look up to you for help.

C. Your life becomes the Board.

D. You get ability, to move, delete, merge, maintain forums.

E. You get your name assigned to a forum as a "representative"

F. You get emailis about people reporting posts.

G. You get to make official threads.

H. You get to make stickys (just don't tell neobond you did it) :p

I. You get to welcome new members.

J. You get to Ban or Restrict a users profile, and warn them for being bad.

K. you get to edit posts / threads and leave trail messages for people who have been bad.

L. Your post count signifantly gets to increase because of all the threads moves you'll be doing.

M. You get to talk to neobond via MSN Messenger and all his pals!!.

N. You get to PM all the users who PM you about to complaints, or complaints they make about you, for moving posts, threads, etc....

O. Accasionly you'll get cussed at or threatened by a really bad member....ban this person asap.. :) you'll be helping us all.

P. You don't get a Post Flooder Message. for us registered peoples its 30 secs....

Q. You get a spiffy moderator control panel (thanks Invision) where you can maintain the forums you're assigned by administration (Voodoo, Redmak, Neobond)

R. You get to listen to Super Moderators And Administration.

S. you get to read confidential neowin documents, see hidden stuff and feel special while doing it..

there's so much more.... Being a Moderator is awesome, if you can just be able to handle all of that and then some.

Yeah I like the idea of a console and pc subforums. But like he said, what is the main gamer's forum for now?

Monopoly, Chutes and Ladders, Win Lose or Draw, Taboo.... Pictionary

    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
