camera uses up to much power?

Recommended Posts

I got a Samsung Digimax Cyber530 in summer last year. Sadly, I don't use it much because it wastes to much power.

It has problems turning off - runs out of power so the lens can't retract, and turning off just as you take the shoot button. :(

I took it back to the store and the person there said that it was because of the LCD screen and that it has no normal eye hole thing. He suggested I got some rechargeable batteries, which I did and I'm still having problems with it running out.

Is there anything I can do to stop it wasting the batteries so quickly or should I take it back?

and do all of this model do this or is it just mine?

what kind of batteries do you use with your camera? You could try some heavy usage accumulators (with a high value for mAh) which you can recharge but if it is faulty they won't help much.

Ni-MH Rechargeable 1300mAh, what the guy in the store recommended, so if the camera isn't faulty, and it's just the batteries, it's his fault. :p
