Juno (2007)

I really enjoyed it but avoided watching it for a long long time cause it sounded terrible.

I hate how the 16 year old girl talks like she's 30 and may as well have come straight from Dawson's creek, I hate how her all-american, all-loving family didn't seem to give two ****s that she was pregnant and was fully supportive and brilliant the whole time. That does not happen. Ever.

I think you're spot on there to be honest, I liked it but that's a pretty accurate summary.

I liked it. As for those comments about "it would never happen", I agree. But hey if you want boring life-like movies, watch european films

Oh, but that does happens, is not as rare as you think but its also not common.

Its just that I love these kinds of flms, comical yet smart and unpretentious.

Me too. Juno was such a fun film that when it ended I was disappointed because I didn't want to leave the neat, stylistic world Diablo Cody had created. It was comfortable and felt like a place I'd want to live.

I felt like that I just wished people near me spoke like that :p

I thought it was a good movie. Pretty entertaining as Page was witty and the storyline was good and simple.

I just think that this movie was over hyped way too much. I mean, yes it was good, But the way some critics have received it, it's as if Juno is some amazing movie the likes of which this world has never seen. Which I believe is not true..

Really nice movie. I especially enjoyed the soundtrack, so much that made me get it. it also introduced me to Kimya Dawson who is a great artist. the movie shows great performances, where the lead actress steals everything. I loved it!!!

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. It's hard to explain what's so good about it, but I just really enjoyed the entire movie. It's one of those movies I could watch 10 times in a week and not be tired of it.

10/10

I am watching this movie again but this time in HD! and its still frickin awesome!

One of my favorite lines from the film is when Juno's father says to her, "I thought you were the kind of girl who knew when to say when." I almost spewed my drink over the sitting in the seat in front of my at the theater. I can't imagine ever saying something like that to my daughter.

The entire film is just awesome though. Jennifer Garner just glows in this film. So beautiful, such an awesome performance.

Well, what can I say, this film is Awsome! I think its a film that you can't miss a part of. The best thing about it is the Variation of characters and the Music. Back to the Film, I thought Ellen Page was perfect for her role, even after her Role in Hard Candy (Another Great Film) where she was a pretty mean Character (Understandably) But she made a good transition.

Acting 8/10 - It was a little like Napoleon Dynamite (Which I liked) apart from Ellen Page

Visual 7/10 - Opening Scene was pretty cool comic book/scribble sort of thing, good camera work

Audio 10/10 - The music was amazing, I even bought the Movie CD!

Overall 8/10 - Great film, enjoyed the entire film!

Terrible movie, one of the only few I ever regretted watching. Why? Because nothing happens. The story is not bad, it's non-existant. Teenager gets pregnant. The end...

The quality of a movie can be judged by the emotion it stirs in you. A smile on your face, a tear in your eye, a shiver down your spine... This movie stirs nothing. Stare at a white wall for an hour and a half, and you've essentially watched Juno.

Dude that's so narrow minded, being pregnant is a big thing mixing many emotions; happiness, sadness, anger etc. You need to open you mind, watch it again and put your self in any of the characters positions like the Dad of Juno or of her Child and imagine how it would feel in real life! If you read it in a book where you have to visualize for your self you would feel different about it! seriously!

I loved this movie. (Y) (Y) Now I just need to find a woman as witty and intelligent as Juno. ;)

It isn't often that a teen movie will grip my mind as much as this one did. Usually, they're about dick and fart jokes and getting laid, which are far from deep, but still funny if executed correctly. Juno had a ton of smart humor. Great characters, and great story telling.

    • If you don't care to read what I said, then you prove my point. Maybe written media is beyond your attention span. Titles are not summaries my friend.
    • Nobody asked... in fact, I said "I don't care about political leanings"
    • TLDR. Here is a far better title (just a basic example): Windows 11 26H2 to allow disabling Web search results
    • Restore will get my vote, only if to see if things are any different, doubt it though but Labour and Conservatives too out of touch and same thing over and over and over…, Lib Dem who?
    • There is nothing wrong with this title. You have completely missed the plot when it comes to "clickbait." The issue was never that a title tries to entice you to click, that is how titles have worked for over 100 years. The issue is when the title subverts expectations, getting you to click expecting something that isn't there. The classic clickbait example is "Boyfriend caught cheating, what happens next will shock you," then what happened next is the girlfriend was upset...which is probably the least shocking outcome imaginable. If sounds like what you want is for the titles to be a collection of 10-word summaries that you can skim, get the just of the story, and only click if you want more details. That is not, never has been, and never will be what titles are. You can go all the way back to print newspapers during the great depression and see the same thing. The newspaper was locked in a vending machine, all you can see is the headline, you choose to put in 5¢ to buy the paper and read the rest if you want. Those headlines were written in a way to sell the paper, not just to provide a summery. Here are two actual headlines from that time, "Wall Street Lays an Egg," or "Stocks Hit Bottom?" Maybe you'd say something like "it was wrong then and it's still wrong now." Okay, fine opinion to have, but it isn't like Neowin is doing something unjurnalistic, they are just following the age-old standards for written media.
