Perfect Disk 2008 for 30 day trial, JKdefrag for freeware. One freeware defrag application I tried recently hosed system sounds, weird but true, happened after using on more than one system.

I found DefragMentor Premium -- http://www.defragmentor.com/dmp/en/home.asp -- yesterday, however I cannot tell you anything about it as you must buy it to try it...they give you a 30 day money back offer...just from them doing that I don't think it's worth it.

This file \$Extend\$UsnJrnl is always fragmented whatever defrager I install, why? even doing offline degrag.

I think PerfectDisk can, but I am not totally sure, because the software could report a fake 0% fragmentation. Anyway, I am interested in other software capable of defrag that file. Any idea?

I was just about to post about it. I don't need yet another service running in the background (allthough it does have the option for background defragmenting) and it does boot time defrag as well.
