Cloverfield (2008)

Recommended Posts

Just saw it today, I thought it was great! How do you people get so motion sick, it didn't effect me one bit!

I know! I was good the whole movie except for the verry beginning, from that point on it was so gripping. I couldn't look away!

mmm I liked it, but some parts seemed way too "that would have never happened" to me

Like, that Marlena girl,... it got the impression that she almost didnt know them at all, why did she decide to follow them?

and the marine letting them go like that?

Or when they go up the building... it all semmed too easy.. how do you exactly know, when you are inside, which way you have to go, and which floor is the one "connected" to the other building, if its connected at all?

Or the dude crossing the building with the camera turned on, on his hand? while the others had to grab things to get there?

I kinda got motion sickness at first, but then I went to the tv and it was all easier.

I still liked it :p

And I'm thinking that they could make a sequel with the same thing, but from another point of view. :D

Saw it yesterday ... sure loved it... havent seen blair witch so the camera work was first of a kind for me.

Those creepy crawlies reminded me of the Head Crabs from Half Life 1/2 :D

Yeah I thought that when I saw them.

If you need to see a disaster hit NY, I'd recommend this one over that other movie, I am Legend.

You're seriously recommending Cloverfield over I Am Legend?? ooooookay..... whatever floats your boat. I'd personally give Cloverfield a 1/5.... and i'm being generous lol..... I am Legend I'd say was good enough for a 4/5

haven't seen cloverfield yet. but was thinking up pickin it up tomarrow. i've been trying to stay clear of any kind of spoilers.and i was thinking it was gonna be a godzilla type thing. but i was a commercial for the dvd and they showed a second of the creature and it looked nothing like i thought it would. looks like a good movie to me atleast.

I would. Cloverfield was much more entertaining IMO than I Am Legend.

to me I am legend and cloverfield are right on par, both 5/5 IMO.

with I am legend I was able to get into the character a lot more, you know what I mean? and me living here in Manhattan, seeing the things I see everyday deserted and ruined was really good. will smith really did a good job.

everything was just great.

I liked cloverfield's style, emotion, and the little things that it incorporated here and there that left you thinking was great as well.

both were awesome.

If they want HD to grow in marketplace they should put out movies on DVD and Blu-Ray AT THE SAME TIME. This is stupid, how long will we have to wait to have the HD version?

It's not only Cloverfield, they are doing it with LOTS of movies. They don't seem to care about HD customers.

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it. Your choice MS...
