True enough and in that case Jericho is still a good choice as he can carry almost anyone to a decent match. Jericho can probably even lose without losing too much heat even. Rourke's background as a boxer and an actor might actually make this match not terribly painful to watch.

Yeah I think a Mickey vs Jericho match would be pretty awesome!

Floyd Mayweather Vs Big show match sucks at WM24.

Even though show was heel yet crowds were supporting him. :p

Yeah, the celeb matches always suck. I don't remember who the heel was supposed to be in that match. And if no one can tell who the heel is supposed to be that is another indication that the match isn't going well.

I hold out some hope for Jericho and Rourke. Jericho is a better worker than Show, especially for carrying a limited opponent and being able to look weak. I think Rourke will be better than Mayweather. Rourke knows how to take a punch and knows how to act; he should be able to act like he got punched.

Mickey Rourke won't rumble with WWE superstar

HOUSTON (AP) — A spokeswoman for actor Mickey Rourke says he won't be taking his role as a professional wrestler into a real-life ring after all.

Paula Woods told The Associated Press on Wednesday night that Rourke will not wrestle WWE superstar Chris Jericho at Wrestlemania 25 in April at Houston's Reliant Stadium.

Woods wrote in an e-mail that the Oscar-nominated actor "will not be participating in Wrestlemania. He is focusing entirely on his acting career."

Rourke portrays professional wrestler Randy the Ram in the acclaimed movie "The Wrestler." He made a surprise announcement about the wrestling event Sunday night on the red carpet before the Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles.

Rourke had said he was going to toss Jericho "around the ring like tossed salad."

a ploy?

Yeah we can forgive him for that. Did you also see Ron Killings completely miss his spinning dive thing on HHH?

Ha i just watched it back and it made me laugh. This is why I'm so disappointed with WWE at times...

It's bad enough i know it's not real, But if they can't even make it look real then what's the point of watching?

He was face in that match

From Wikipedia:

Wight returned to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) under his last used ring name (The) Big Show, at No Way Out, stating that he had lost 108 pounds, previously weighing at least 500 pounds when he took time off from injuries. He then attempted to attack Rey Mysterio after his World Heavyweight Championship match with then champion Edge but got into a physical confrontation with boxer Floyd Mayweather, Jr. after Mayweather came from the crowd to defend his friend Rey. The confrontation ended with Mayweather breaking Wight's nose with a punching combination. Big Show was then assigned to work on the SmackDown brand, although he has often appeared on Raw as well. In the following weeks, Big Show was portrayed as a heel, yet fan majority continued to support him over his rich, boastful adversary.

Shane was awesome on Raw. Good to see him take revenge.

For the first time in a long time I can say I am looking forward to seeing a PPV, I feel the card is quite good especially the Shane vs Orton match.

    • Along with that and very unfortunate for Linux, the AI boom/tariffs/global supply chain instability really destroyed any chances of it getting a decent chunk of market share. By all accounts, if a Steam Deck was still available for $399 (with tons of alternatives releasing at $500-$800 - instead of $1500+ now) and the Steam Machine was out there for $499, I think a lot of people WOULD have been willing to try SteamOS and switch away from Windows. But yeah, with the crazy jacked up prices now, people have to make safe bets with their money.
    • Neowin hasn't been covering the Ladybird browser but it has been posted about on a lot of tech and Linux/open source sites. I have been following the effort myself for almost a year now. Cloudflare and Proton are among their sponsors. You can read the why here--> https://ladybird.org/#about
    • That's really the user's problem, not the developers. It's not like the Windows 10 EOL was a surprise. Once a product goes out of support, you have to understand YOU are owning the risk of running it - the rest of the world will move on, maybe you'll be OK, maybe you'll be OK for a while, maybe you'll have an issue.... But you can't expect devs to write or certify software for dead operating systems.
    • Not mentioned in this blog post is that Linux has now dropped for 2 months in a row. At a hight of 5.33% in March, then 4.52% in April and now 3.99% in May. I suspect the end of Windows 10 got a bunch of people to try Linux, fueled by all the Microsoft hate, and rabid social media push of that....and now they are going back to Windows 11 because of the normal Linux issues. The vast majority of PC gamers want to use their computers to game and not trouble shoot why a game wont work, or half work.
