As seen on Raw tonight, Melina was traded from Smackdown to Raw and won the Divas Championship. It was also announced on Raw that Beth Phoenix had been traded to Smackdown. Immediately following Raw tonight, WWE.com posted the following supplemental trade results:

Mickie James has been traded from Raw to SmackDown

Rosa Mendes has been traded from Raw to ECW

Brie & Nikki Bella have been traded from ECW to Raw

Eve Torres has been traded from SmackDown to Raw

WTF are they thinking on some of those? I don't wanna see the Bella idiots on RAW! And I sure as hell don't want to see Mickie James on SD!, though with Beth Pheonix there now (or is she still on RAW? lol they didn't explain that one to well) that could be a good setup.

Hopefully it will allow Jillian to get a decent feud. She's been underused for a long time.

Jillian? She's a horrible worker though. I mean sure, Trish wasn't the greatest worker either when she first went from a manager to wrestler, but she worked her butt off to get good, and good she got. Jillian can't wrestle out of a wet paper bag at this point. Plus, she needs a new gimmick NOW. lol

I don't know why they can't just keep Show as a face. He's so funny and has great facial expressions (as seen in last nights skit). It amazes me that, he's really over with the crowds, he's this 7 foot tall giant dood, but he hasn't had a world title in like, forever. Meanwhile he does everything they tell him to do for the company (including being humiliated by Shaq and many others over the years). It'd be nice if they gave him some respect. But I guess respect isn't Vince's strong suit...

I think she's OK and probably one of the better females on Raw (that's probably not saying much). Matches between her and Gail Kim could be quite decent.

Mickie James vs. Gail Kim I'd pay to see. Both awesome workers. Gail Kim is the best women's wrestler WWE has (she always was pretty much) and they are just totally wasting her. I'm sure it's punishment for going to TNA like Vince loves to do (hence Christian on ECW STILL).

Except Booker was a main eventer and world champion in WWE. Christian never was (at least not yet). I don't think Vince could treat Booker the same way he's treated Christian or Kim in that regard. Plus, I doubt Booker would ever agree to going to ECW or working a program with some lame low end guy or even mid-card guy from ECW etc at this point in his career.

I still want to see the Dudley Boys return one day. Though since there isn't any tag team division to speak of in WWE, that might be hard for them to do lol

Yeah I actually miss a good Tag Team match, I mean recently I enjoyed Carlito (where has he gone?) and Primo vs Morrison and the Miz that was good but now we have the big sloth and Jericho controlling the whole division with 2 belts its crap.

Well don't forget it was supposed to be Jericho and Edge here not Big Show. But it's worked out pretty good with them so far I think.

But as I've said. Show is just to much of a nice guy IRL and a giant teddy bear kinda guy. He smirks and smiles and makes jokes all the time (as a heel no less) and he just seems so out of place as heel to me. Jericho on the other hand, is the best heel in the biz hands down. He's just incredible.

    • Bluesky COO warns social media regulations could destroy competition from small startups by Paul Hill Fears that increasing government control of social media risks regulatory capture by the biggest social media firms were raised again recently. Bluesky’s chief operating officer said in an interview that social media bans for children and tighter regulations for social media firms risk creating a world where there are only a few social media platforms run by companies with the deepest pockets. Regulations on social media firms have been very lax since they appeared for mainstream users in the 2000’s. This gave Meta, Snapchat, and Google time to build up their user bases and get entrenched, with Meta being the most successful. Now that Meta has succeeded, it has been attempting regulatory capture. By pushing for more regulations of social media, Meta hopes to make it more difficult for rivals to challenge it. For its part, it doesn’t need to worry about the cost of regulation because it has a lot of money to spend, whereas startups do not. Speaking to CNBC, Rose Wang, Bluesky’s chief operating officer, said: “I support the protection and the safety of youth, the question that we have then is at what cost, because essentially what I’m scared of is in the long term, we’re headed to a world where there’s about three to five platforms, and extreme heavy regulation of those platforms, and basically the whole compliance teams of these platforms are 10 times the size of our entire team. So, basically, we’re living in a world where it’s almost impossible for smaller entrants to come in and build healthier spaces. These platforms have led to a place where the bottom line is the thing that drives what they do... so I understand why governments have to step in and regulate, because the platforms have done nothing right.” She said that while she is not against regulation, there needs to be more channels between the small to mid-sized players and regulators to help protect them. She says that big tech players, on the other hand, “who we know are circumventing regulation,” need to be regulated. Essentially, the Bluesky position is one of nuance, rather than absolutes. While Bluesky’s proposal may preserve competition in the social media space, it still doesn’t address the massive privacy implications these age verification measures introduce, such as handing over sensitive identity documents to access age-gated content.
