FSM magazine former Ring of Honor talent Nigel McGuinness will most likely be heading to TNA Wrestling instead of WWE. It's being reported that McGuinness is currently backstage at the TNA Impact tapings in Orlando, and word is that he either has or is going to sign a contract with the company.

He'll be on Impact this week, where he attacks Kurt Angle.

To bad TNA will ruin him like they did Samoa Joe.

Well there are quite a few former ROH members on the TNA roster as you know. I'm sure that plays into it also along with Joe and a few others pushing for it (Angle I would assume is pushing for it, knowing Booker T is gone and Stiener is about gone as well now) etc.

If Booker T goes back to WWE now (which he will probably do), I think it's a big mistake for Danielson or McGuinness to sign with TNA right now. Truth be told, WWE is the big stage for the forseeable future in wrestling and by going to TNA, well...let's put it this way a big star in TNA doesn't make you a big star in wrestling really. Booker T could have put in a good word or two for the two ROH'ers in WWE if he returns. And I'm sure CM Punk would also. Being Punk is now one of the top heels in WWE (I never thought I'd say that) he has some sway as well.

Regardless, for a wrestling decision it's probably best they go to TNA. But for a biz and future decision WWE would have been the obvious choice here. Plus, WWE is focusing more on wrestling now also so who knows. I don't think they would have been buried in WWE but it's possible. At least in TNA McGuinness will start right off with Angle (but then again Joe did also and look what TNA did to him) into a main event push straight away. Consider Bobby Lashely though. He's getting booed out of the building now in TNA. TNA screwed him up so bad it isn't funny and he's hardly been back for long. Blargh.

According to ProWrestling.net, there is more to the Nigel McGuinness/WWE story than was first reported.

While the public explanation from McGuinness was that WWE took too long to finalize the contract, the ProWrestling.net website claims McGuinness failed a WWE prescreening test. As such, WWE apparently pulled their offer to McGuiness off the table and never officially offered him a contract.

Hulk Hogan Says He Contemplated Suicide ? Detailsb>

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan says he had his finger on the trigger of a gun and was about to kill himself when he received a phone call from a concerned celebrity friend.

ThNew York Daily Newsi> has published quotes from Hulk's new book "My Life Outside the Ring," where he describes hit rock bottom after the nasty breakup with his wife of 23 years and coping with Nick's car accident that put Nick in jail and left family friend John Graziano brain-damaged.

Hulk says he did everything he could to keep his family together"I practically begged her, 'Please, don't file. Our son's just had this accident -- if we do this now, it'll make us look like the Britney Spears family. Please, don't file for divorce.'" Hogan calls Linda an abusive alcoholic who once threatened to beat Nick with a wine bottle. Hulk says the extend of Linda's crazy side was never really seen on their "Hogan Knows Best" VH1 reality show because "There were plenty of times when Linda would lose it, but no one wanted to see that kind of ugliness on TV."b>

Hogan then describes a darker chapter in his life, where he almost committed suicide. Hulk said one day while filming NBC's "American Gladiators," he downed a heavy cocktail of rum and the anti-anxiety medication Xanax. Later in the day, he received a phone call from co-host Laila Ali, daughter of boxing great Muhammad Ali, who was concerned for him after noticing he seemed distracted at work. Hogan said in the book that he had reached for a gun and put his finger on the trigger when Ali called.

Keep in mind that this is Hulk Hogan and he is promoting something. It's still interesting to say the least.

:huh:h:

We exclusively reported yesterday that former Ring of Honor star Bryan Danielson was not a part of the deal made between TNA and Nigel McGuinness, and that as of then his future with TNA or WWE was still undecided. In an update to the story, ProWrestling.net is reporting that Bryan Danielson is expected to begin working with WWE in the very near future. It appears that Nigel McGuinness may have been telling people that WWE waited too long to sign him as a cover-up for the reality that he failed a preliminary screening with the company, but reports are indicating that is NOT the case with Danielson and that since he passed his screening he will be signing with WWE as expected.
Former WWE World Tag Team champion Lance Cade signed a new contract with WWE at some point last week. Cade reported to WWE's developmental territory (Florida Championship Wrestling) this week.

Cade, originally trained by Shawn Michaels and Rudy Boy Gonzales in Texas, had a previous run with the company, most notably his tag team with Trevor Murdoch. Murdoch is now im TMA under the name "The Outlaw" Jethro Holliday.

Jim Ross reported at the time that Cade was let go after he had a seizure on a flight that required emergency treatment with the belief being that something Cade had taken caused the seizure.

Cade has been been working for the NWA's Championship Wrestling from Hollywood TV project and made appearances in Japan as well.

I might not like his look (he's to skinny, like Angle lol) but lordy I love his accent.

Plus, I think he shaved his hair? I could swear he had some mohawk or something last time I saw him in ROH...

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
