Wannes
Edge is expected to return at WrestleMania. I'm not sure if I should be happy because this smells like another Undertaker vs Edge feud. red.
So it looks like we'll have to wait for the (probably) awesome Edge vs Jericho feud. Rappy Veteran Posted November 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 5, 2009 I'm not sure if I should be happy because this smells like another Undertaker vs Edge feud. yeah WWE could pick Edge to be the man to end the "streak" Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591806274 Share on other sites
+Nik Louch Subscriber² Posted November 5, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 5, 2009 yeah WWE could pick Edge to be the man to end the "streak" Do you reckon? I dunno... Will they ever end the streak or let him retire with it intact? Knowing Vince, someone will end it who 100% doesn't deserve to - whatever "powerhouse" shaped wrestler they are pushing this month and will be in TNA the next... So it looks like we'll have to wait for the (probably) awesome Edge vs Jericho feud. That would be a hell of a fued! Rappy Veteran Posted November 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 5, 2009 yeah I mean he's rated R so he will be my controversy so its in him but yeah I totally agree about Vince he would probably pick a roid pumped upstart to do the job and screw Undertaker Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591806338 Share on other sites
Victor Rambo
yeah WWE could pick Edge to be the man to end the "streak" Undertaker has already defeated edge at WM. :p John cena or rey mysterio ending taker's streak would be awesome. Rappy Veteran Posted November 5, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 5, 2009 so he could face him again :p Rey would be crap (remember the giant killing angle...was a bit crappy) Cena would be ok if he was heel because the hate that win would generate would be immense Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591806392 Share on other sites
Victor Rambo
lol I was kidding about mysterio & cena. Also mysterio winning the world heavyweight belt was the biggest joke in the history of pro wrestling. The only wrestler that can end taker's streak is Rattle Snake. :shifty: :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591806410 Share on other sites

Mazhar
yeah WWE could pick Edge to be the man to end the "streak" If this would happen, it would be the insult of Taker's streak. timster
Lashley now facing midcarders? yea, now that Hogan is there. i guess the mentality is that everyone else can **** off TNA made a good short term business decision, but in the long run will end up screwing not only themselves, but the roster and the fans Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591809446 Share on other sites
Rappy Veteran Posted November 6, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 6, 2009 Yeah for now Hogan will get people watching just to see what happens but overall its a bad decision! I wonder who is attacking AJ though...I hope its not someone lame like Jarrett Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/621597-the-big-wrestling-thread/page/79/#findComment-591809520 Share on other sites
LOC Veteran Posted November 6, 2009 Veteran Share Posted November 6, 2009 If this would happen, it would be the insult of Taker's streak. Edge is way more low supertar to end the streak. The only superstar of this caliber is Triple H. Edge has been one of the top players in the WWE for the past few years. Before that he (along with Christian and the Hardy Boyz and Dudleys) were the tag team division. Edge single handedly kept SD! interesting for months on end a year or two ago (minus the whole Vickie crapfests) and until his injury was and still is the top heel in the WWE next to Jericho. HHH is the only person worthy of breaking the Taker's streak? Guess what, in the end it's Taker's decision with Vince. I can almost promise you it'll be someone like Edge who could use the rub WAY WAY more than HHH could ever use it anymore. That is, if the streak ever ends... red.
With Vince, it'll probably some body builder pumped full of steroids that ends Taker's streak. Mazhar, taker has already defeated hhh too at WM17. :shifty:That was the best wm match of taker. :D I dunno, i though his match this year with HBK was better than that match. Best WM though. The Rock/Austin Limp Bizkit - My Way promo is probably my favourite ever. +Nik Louch Subscriber² Posted November 6, 2009 Subscriber² Share Posted November 6, 2009 When they bring Edge back, he needs to be a very strong character. Start heel, but with enough comedic elements to get over with the crowd. Then turn him face as slowly as possible - have Christian tease some involvement but do NOT reunite them, it doesn't further either's career in the long term. As a face, he should never be fully face, still keep him sneaky and unpredictable.
