This is actually the third time they are facing at Mania, not fourth time. 1st was WM 17 and second was last year.

You are correct. I apologize :)

Ok this is where i dont respect triple H, he has to hog the limelight all the time. Even during the cena rise era of 2006 onwards he tried with all his might to be the bigger star but people didnt accept it. Now he has to show cena and rock down with a hell in a cell match with the undertaker. That is just his big ass ego.

I think it was said in this thread that it was rumored he was trying something like this (and has succeeded). A regular match would not have outdone the Cena vs Rock match (which IMO is already overhyped) so he had to do it big. Although Im not sure they can do better.....even though we are guaranteed to see them climb to the top of the celll because 1) They have to really go all out on this one 2) Noone else has the balls to go to the top of this bigger cell.

That is why i absolutely love jericho, he not only talks the talk but also walks the walk when he says that he wants new guys to come on top. Just see some of his numerous interviews all over the youtube. He is an amazing performer and has been since his early days (by early i mean wcw not the mexican or japanese promotions he performed for)

For the record, his early days were ECW.

I really wish to see jericho win the match along with the rock. Rock has and always will be the greatest when it comes down to getting people involved in the theatrics. People respond to him unlike any other superstar (atleast since i started watching) even undertaker doesnt get the same pop that the rock gets.

There is a big difference between what we want and what will problably happen. I think everyone wants (or wanted a few months ago) for the Rock to win, although WWE has spinned EVERYTHING IT COULD to make Cena fan favorite.

I dont really care about the other matches :p

Money in the bank is always intresting :) Have to love ladder matches.

Pretty much those three are the most interesting. Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus is pretty much Smackdown: Boring, second mid-low card, not interesting, etc etc.........Bryan could save it with some interesting wrestling but other than that. If you notice, all week RAW is a "Supershow" :p and they have some Smackdown talent fight on there :p People don't care about Smackdown and the other day when it was "live" you could hear it.

Cena v/s Rock = Rock for sure

Triple H v/s Undertaker = Undertaker for sure

CM Punk v/s Jericho = Jericho for, ..., yeah for sure

I really really hope so. But Rock and Jericho are not going to win unless someone else interferes.

Rock because its more of a torch passing match than anything else. And its two of the Vince's most near and dear performers so thats pretty much sums up the odds of rock winning over cena. Rock will do anything vince says as long as he gets to keep his persona of 'the great one' intact through mic skills and whatnot.

Jericho might win he has better odds of winning than rock just because he and punk are both dont actually give two hoots about what vince thinks of them. Jericho because he can live off of his bands royalties and punk because well no matter what anybody says he is THE guy people want to see with a mic in his hands and performing in the ring.

I agree with undertaker's win, he is going out winning no way in hell he is losing a hell in a cell in wrestlemania.

ok saw this weeks raw,

it was pretty ENTERTAINING JUST like raw should be smile.gif the first punk and y2j arguement was nice and damn PUNK stumbling on his words tongue.gif not kewl lol

the other thing that was good to see was the battle between john and teddy lol and teddy showing off his tude side HAHA

the rock segment kinda was boring at start and although the crowd was with him, he dragged it along and felt repetitive, didnt deliver as expected sad.gif when cena came out to pump that was nice tho, rock although with all that crowd on his side, cena's still pwning IMO... and damn soo many stumbles this raw episode, first it was punk and NOW ROCK stumbled at times too tongue.gif weak

I am liking the Jericho vs Punk angle. You can actually tell by the look on Punks face that he respects jericho a lot. He was nodding at most of jericho's arguements. Pretty Nicely done promo to tell you the truth apart from the very odd fumbling of words on punk's part.

WWE is trying to give Rock vs Cena the same kind of spin they gave to Punk vs Cena rivalry back in 2011 summer. Just check out what cena said regarding bits of papers and promo. I loled at that sentence. Atleast they are trying.

I am gonna try to watch all the raw shows till wrestlemania and if Jericho wins then i will watch raw again till he loses his championship :p

Edit: Just wanted to add that i loved the liontamer on punk by jericho. He ought to use that a lot more.

Swagger vs someone (If they dont give him the MITB match, Santino???)

Damn, Im getting pretty good at this :p Called another one....

I have to agree on some things:

part 1 of Rock vs Cena was pretty boring. Cena said it this week, twitter **** and pretty much nonsense. Cena won that one.

Now this weeks' part was completely the Rock again. The segments were great. Rock won that one.

On a side note: What does Cena say? "The Rock reads his lines off his a....." It doesnt matter what Cena says! (Man I hope he does that one once to Cena please). Like The Rock said: Its entertainment: People come to be entertained and frankly some of the matches are pretty boring (coughcoughdivascoughcough) so the Rock is great for that.

The rivalry is being overhyped but the WWE is pretty much getting the job done.

On other topics, HBK is really not necessary for the HINC match. IMO, it would have been great one vs one. Changes a lot of things......Lets see next week, when HBK and Undertake see eye to eye and see if anything pops up to say a winner.

BTW, Cena ****ed it up on his promo: "New champions crowned".........Come on. We already know at least one title was going to change hands but just dont "say it".

^ Rock 'lost' this week too. I saw people asking last night if Rock was intentionally tanking the promos to make Cena look good. I doubt thats the case, The Rock just doesn't have it anymore. Thats why his taped segments are much better than his live work. He gets multiple takes. Cena 'won' the crowd two weeks in a row. This week was in Boston, yes, and that helped. But finally Cena is earning more of the respect he deserves because he is proving he can stand toe to toe with The Great One on the mic. When he does it in the ring, as well, he should earn even more respect.

HBK in the HiaC doesn't mean much. They would NEVER end the streak on a screwjob finish like HBK not letting UT win. So the only thing he might do is prevent HHH from winning, which is possible but unlikely.

A lot of people mentioned the Cena promo and what he said. He was just generalizing. Everyone gives him too much credit. He doesn't know the outcomes of things he isn't involved in any more than anyone else on the roster.

I was commenting on the whole: The segments are, like you said, indeed taped so there was problably more than one take. Its obvious he has lost at live as it happens to all comidians: Sandler, Rock, Spade, etc etc....They lose practice and they arent as good any more. At least, now he has the chance to practice as (AFAIK) this is the first time in a very long time the Rock is back to back on RAW. But I agree that Cena is killing him at live performance but on a whole, I think the Rock "won" this week.

Yeah it doesnt mean much but was it really neccesary? Might as well overdo it with a "Kennel From Hell Last Match Standing" match (please I beg you if you do not know what is "Kennel From Hell" do not google it: It will be one of the worst matches you see in the history of sports entertainment). Thats my point: HHH vs UT in HIAC is more than enough.

On the last part, I have no idea :) Was just commenting for fun.

All I'm saying on this weeks Raw is that it was better than the Elimination Chamber PPV. Teddy Long organized some great matches. The Rock hasn't lost it, I think he's intentionally allowing the crowd to favour Cena. Remember the pop he got last year and the pop he got when he wrestled at Survivor Series?

If the WWE screw The Rock and make him lose, I'll stop watching. Cena isn't a great wrestler at all but the fact he's kept the company going is respectable.

1. You know the GMs don't really book the matches, right?

2. Getting a pop isn't the same as being able to work the mic. He will get a pop regardless, because of who he is. But during the last two weeks of live promos, it is obvious from the crowd they are not enraptured by what The Rock is saying.

3. THE ROCK IS GOING TO LOSE AT WRESTLEMANIA. Period. If you think otherwise, you might as well stop watching now. Him winning the match serves no purpose whatsoever. Putting him over Cena (the face of the company) does not help the WWE. When they have 'celebrities win WM matches, they always beat heels. The WWE has refused to turn Cena heel, although he will be treated like one in Miami. Cena will win. Could he somehow win dirty? It is possible, I could see him cheating to win and turning heel in the process. The only way I could see The Rock win was if they had Zack Ryder cost Cena the match because of what happened with Eve, Kane, Cena and Ryder. But thats obviously not going to happen now.

4. Cena IS a very good wrestler. Don't be fooled by the 'five moves of doom' crap, because guess what, when you're in the main event week after week, that happens to everyone. Look at Punk. Same thing has happened. But Cena has shown time and time again he can have great matches.

1. You know the GMs don't really book the matches, right?

Lets hope he knows this :p

2. Getting a pop isn't the same as being able to work the mic. He will get a pop regardless, because of who he is. But during the last two weeks of live promos, it is obvious from the crowd they are not enraptured by what The Rock is saying.

Completely correct. He is losing the crowd more and more, might be intentional or not (as you said he has lost mic skills but taking advantage of that and making Cena look better on the mic, which by the way, personally Cena is getting pretty good, like him or not)

3. THE ROCK IS GOING TO LOSE AT WRESTLEMANIA. Period.

As much as I loved the Rock growing up and love our city (Miami), this is sadly true for the reasons stated.

The Ryder twist would be too far fetched in a WM pay per view although it happed in Cena vs Miz (where Rock cost him the match). I (like I commented for the Rock) would perfer the Rock lose than Ryder interfering.

4. Cena IS a very good wrestler. Don't be fooled by the 'five moves of doom' crap, because guess what, when you're in the main event week after week, that happens to everyone. Look at Punk. Same thing has happened. But Cena has shown time and time again he can have great matches.

I disagree. I think he is a great sports entertainer but has nothing to do with Punk, Brian, etc etc.

Speaking on Punk, he pulled out something new from the arsenal (cant remember what it was) this week that usually he doesn't do based on that and other things I think Punk is a pretty good wrestler but he has years ahead of him.

I disagree. I think he is a great sports entertainer but has nothing to do with Punk, Brian, etc etc.

Punk and Bryan are GREAT wrestlers. I only said that Cena is very good, which he is. Go back and watch the action at MITB 2011 - where he has an opponent with skill and time for the match to happen. You can't judge anyone by the short weekly matches.

The Rock ain't gonna lose. Period.

Though I suspect we might see a surprising ending. Like a count out or a disqualification, but I am 100% sure that they will not let him lose in his own hometown, in his first match in many years.

What does a win by The Rock accomplish? How does it help the WWE? Remember, after April 2nd, he's going to be gone again, off filming movies. Giving him a win over Cena and then he makes one more appearance and then is gone does not make any sense. They're going to get their PPV buys before the match. Cena will win.

It is tough to say whos gonna win, Rock or Cena. Some say Cena will win and Rock will pass the torch, well that makes sense as it happens in WWE. Now I say that Rock may win because after all he is wrestling after so many years and this is his first match after long time, so how could he lose?

Nonetheless, I know it is crazy but I am seeing Cena vs. Rock II at WM 29 next year as Rock has confirmed that he will be at WM 29 (in the press conference) and I think that may be the score settling match for Cena or Rock.

Well everybody knows Rock is going to lose at WM. He is NOT a full time wrestler and he and Vince had an agreement to do something special for the WWE and this is it. When this is over, we probably won't see Rocky until the next Wrestlemania, which he already confirmed he will be at so I am thinking maybe they will let Cena win this match and then next year at the next WM, Rocky will win or Vice Versa, maybe Rocky will win this one and next year they will have a rematch and Cena will win. Who knows what's crawling on Vince's mind right now in regards to this.

I know one thing for certain though, Undertaker is going to win. Shawn Michaels is the guest referee and the way this is going to go down is as follows:

Shawn Michaels is not happy with what Triple-H said to him and Triple-H is not happy with what the Undertaker said to him about Shawn Michaels being better than him so now, since both of these men have an ego to protect, Shaun Michaels is going to give the win to Taker just because he will never allow Triple H to do what he couldn't do - Beat Taker.

Mark my words, This is what's going to happen. You just watch.

The Rock has already stated that he is gonna be at next years WrestleMania, so that throws this years main event into a "weird ending" scenario!

Also, best quote of the year "Carry on, keep trending". Perfectly sums up my feelings towards all the Twitter crap being thrown around in Rock's lackluster promo work.

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know by Hamid Ganji Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Image via Samsung The next generation of Samsung foldables is set to be unveiled next month at the second Unpacked event of the year. Samsung’s 2026 foldables are not expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, with the Korean firm instead focusing on design refinements and conventional upgrades such as faster processors and better cameras. However, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an all-new passport-style foldable this year to rival Apple’s first foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut this September. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices ahead of their official debut. When can we expect Samsung’s new foldables? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series were unveiled in July, and Samsung is expected to maintain this timeframe in 2026. Based on previous reports from Korean sources, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event on July 22 in London, UK, to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. The devices are also expected to hit the shelves a few weeks after launch. However, Samsung has yet to announce an official date. A new naming scheme? One of the most interesting changes we might see this year is a new naming scheme for Samsung’s latest foldables. SamMobile reported that since Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables this year, it has adopted a new naming strategy to simplify product identification for customers. Accordingly, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 will reportedly be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The “Ultra” suffix suggests the phone could feature higher-end specifications, such as additional rear camera modules. Samsung’s new passport-style foldable is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name without any suffix. This model is reportedly equipped with two rear cameras. No major changes are expected for the Flip model. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 anticipated specs Rumors over the past few months suggest Samsung is preparing several upgrades for its upcoming foldables, although the devices may continue to rely on larger batteries and faster charging speeds rather than dramatic design changes. The primary focus this year is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its wide-screen design. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here are the anticipated specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra based on previous leaks: 6.5-inch outer display and 8-inch inner display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,600 nits peak brightness Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage 4.1mm thickness when unfolded and a weight of 210g 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera, 10MP cover camera, and 10MP selfie camera 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the device is not expected to be a major departure from its predecessor, although it could become slightly slimmer. Expected specifications include: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processor 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner dispaly and 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer dispaly 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 Samsung’s foldables are also expected to launch with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s AI suite for automating tasks in Android ecosystem. Moreover, given current memory and component costs, some Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 variants could see a price hike. Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a wide-screen design The centerpiece of the upcoming Unpacked event could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. This model adopts a passport-style form factor and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone Fold. Galaxy Z Fold 8 official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here’s what to expect: 7.6-inch primary OLED display and 5.4-inch cover display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 4:3 aspect ratio Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera Android 17 and One UI 9 The three new foldable phones are unlikely to be the only devices unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9 series.

    • 7 Days: Killing uBlock Origin bypasses, Euro Office faces fire, and will AI replace you? by Aditya Tiwari 7 Days is a weekly roundup of picks of what's been happening in the world of technology - written with a dash of humor, a hint of exasperation, and an endless supply of (black) coffee. This week's highlights include WWDC 2026 announcements, updates on child safety, and Meta's use of data from outside businesses to optimize your feed. Let's get started. You can check out the recent issues of the 7 Days weekly roundup. Killing uBlock Origin bypasses The hottest news of the week was about Google Chrome effectively ending most uBlock Origin workarounds (a free, open-source ad blocker extension) by permanently dropping MV2 extensions and their bypasses. Chrome is transitioning towards newer MV3 extensions. A recent discussion thread highlighted how the latest and upcoming versions of the most popular browser are expected to be its final releases with support for MV2 extensions. Genuinely European? Euro-Office faces fire The recently launched cloud-based office suite, Euro-Office, is facing criticism at home. The LibreOffice developer wrote an open letter criticizing Euro-Office for its marketing claim that it's the "first open-source office suite developed in Europe," since the honor has belonged to OpenOffice since 2001. The Document Foundation has called out Euro-Office, arguing that it can't consider "itself genuinely European" as long as it keeps pushing Microsoft defaults on users, adding that "it has to speak ODF as its mother tongue." Will AI replace you? Image: Tara Winstead via Pexels Microsoft's AI boss, Mustafa Suleyman, said in an interview earlier this year that AI would replace office workers within 12 to 18 months. Joining the ranks of top executives who have softened their stance on AI replacing humans, Suleyman recently walked back his earlier remarks and now says that AI will automate tasks, not replace entire white-collar jobs. He defended his earlier comments by arguing that they referred only to individual actions people perform at their desks. Louis Rossmann wants to sue Samsung Image: Louis Rossmann Tech repair entrepreneur and right-to-repair activist Louis Rossmann contacted Samsung support over a failed 4TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD. After back-and-forth communication, Samsung offered a $330 refund instead of a replacement, but Rossmann found that the SSD was readily available for new buyers at a higher price. He has issued a formal 60-day notice and intends to file a suit in Texas small claims court, as Samsung's actions reflect a failure to honor its warranty obligations. Samsung reached out to Neowin to clarify its updated stance that customers in such situations will receive a refund equal to the product's current market price. Child safety or mass surveillance? Image: Jonathan Borba via Pexels Signal accused the UK government of using child safety and device-level explicit content ban as a cover for mass surveillance. Calling the plan "dystopian," Signal warned that it violates everyone's fundamental right to privacy. The messaging platform believes that the government should keep children "safe" and "protected," but it should do so through social services and education. Fears of social media regulation Image via DepositPhotos.com More governments across the globe are tightening their grip on social media and bringing stricter regulations in the name of child safety. Bluesky COO, Rose Wang, warned that social media regulations could destroy competition from small startups and that heavy regulatory compliance costs favor deep-pocketed tech giants while locking out new entrants. HP is also facing equally frustrating issues involving recent Windows Secure Boot updates on Windows 11. Controversial icon: Spotify finally removed the disco ball icon from its app and replaced it with the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. While some people don't like the new design, the retro, three-dimensional look has generated a following of its own. Even other brands are coming up with their versions of the disco logo. NVIDIA fixes stuff: A new hotfix driver 610.52 fixes various issues related to monitors and displays, noting that G-SYNC-related frame pacing troubles should now be resolved on Ada Lovelace GPUs. The feedback thread also points out that the hotfix patches a BSOD issue. FIFA World Cup tracker: Opera is redesigning its Android browser with a built-in football tracker for the upcoming World Cup in the US. The new homepage is now "more immersive" with easier access to common browser features. Command line for Proton: The Swiss technology company has launched a command line version of the Proton Drive, which you can use to manage your encrypted files directly from a terminal across all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. Google Tensor production: While TSMC will remain the lead producer, the search giant is reportedly in talks with Samsung to hand over part of the production of its next-generation Tensor AI chips. The upcoming TPUs are reportedly codenamed “Icefish” and will be produced using Samsung's 2-nanometer process technology. Lethal fake phone chargers: UK-based consumer rights organization Which? has warned that "potentially lethal knock-off chargers" are still being sold on online marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay, despite the dangers of such chargers having been exposed. NotebookLM can now generate outputs in more formats, making it easier to start new projects with less information. This week in Apple News Image: Apple Catch up on some of the latest Apple news updates that arrived throughout the week: WWDC 2026: This week was all about Apple's annual developer conference, where the iPhone-maker finally unveiled an upgraded Siri AI and a platter of new Apple Intelligence features. Siri AI now has a cross-platform app, which is supported on select models of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. What's different about WWDC: I wrote a detailed feature this week discussing how Apple changed the WWDC keynote this year, blurring the lines between its operating systems. Apple didn't have dedicated segments for its operating systems this year and didn't even publish the official press releases. Liquid Glass slider (finally): It's that time of the year when Apple previews fresh updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other platforms. A new transparency slider for Liquid Glass is coming to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate. Is your device supported?: If you're wondering whether your Apple device supports the new developer beta builds, you can check the respective compatibility lists for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27. Siri AI not coming to Europe: Yes, that's true due to complications related to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). While Apple penned a blog post to tell its side of the story, a European Commission spokesperson told Neowin that the DMA does not prohibit Apple from launching its services in the EU; the company is simply required to comply with the law. New child safety features: Apple announced a trove of new safety features for kids, including a simpler setup experience for parents, Ask to Browse, Time Allowances, and a redesigned Screen Time UI. Parents can now visit a new website to find answers to common questions around child safety features. More cloud power: Apple's Private Cloud Compute cloud infrastructure will now run beyond its own data centers for the first time. It's working with Google and NVIDIA to run new Apple Intelligence workloads on Google Cloud systems powered by NVIDIA GPUs. This week in Meta news Catch up on the latest Meta news updates that arrived throughout the week: Data from outside: Meta is rolling out a new update globally to personalize your AI responses and primary feeds using data from outside businesses. It already targets ads based on shopping activity, but the latest development enables it to personalize other "parts of your experience." There is a toggle in the Settings to disable activity from other businesses; however, it won't prevent companies from sending your data to Meta. Level playing field: The European Commission has ordered the social media giant to restore access to WhatsApp for third-party AI chatbots, including ChatGPT and Copilot. Meta previously blocked rival AI chatbots from operating on WhatsApp, prompting the Commission to launch an antitrust investigation. Spying on users: On the flip side, WhatsApp accused the Israeli cyber-intelligence firm, NSO Group, of deploying a fresh wave of targeted "spear phishing" attacks against its users, which were thwarted by WhatsApp's security teams. Reorder profile grid: Adding some customization for the profile grid feature, Instagram now lets you rearrange posts in your profile without deleting and reuploading content. Claude Fable 5 sits above the Opus models and outperforms most other generally available models across knowledge work, vision, scientific research, and more. However, the model was abruptly suspended after receiving an export control directive from the US government. Stack Overflow for AI agents: The popular Q&A platform has launched Stack Overflow for Agents in beta, which AI agents can use to share, find, and reuse coding knowledge.
