Comments on that video and other sources (rumors) said that he became disruptive in the halls and was thrown out by security. But take that will a grain of salt :)

My question is (referring to Wrestlemania) if they will indeed do a rematch, how can they make the Rock win (if there is a rematch next year, its clear this year Rock wins in his hometown)? If it is all lies and there will only be one match, Cena will still, doesnt matter what happens, win.

Hey, I hope there is a rematch so the Rock can win in our hometown :D

awww I still remember this awesome gimmick!

I effing LOVE that song! :woot:

Also, not sure if anyone else follows this comic, it's quite good.

Yep, I started following Botched Spot a couple of weeks ago. :)

Anyone else here follow Botchamania? :)

Have I missed something . . . ? How did the dirtsheets, or anyone else, know that it is A-Train in that video? Did a source tell them it's A-Train, or are they merely going off of the video, assuming, even though his face isn't shown? The way they're talking about it doesn't sound like they're assuming; it sounds as if they know for sure.

They know because of his very distinctive chest tattoo.

Plus that teamed with rumours a couple of weeks ago that he re-signed, then him denying the rumours on his Twitter added to the speculation.

I wonder who they'll book him to feud with? I've read some people say Brodus Clay, but the more realistic one I've seen is him being yet another monster heel to be taken down by John Cena. I suppose we'll find out on the RAW after WrestleMania; I doubt he'll debut at WM.

We noted yesterday here on the website that WWE officials had been discussing a John Cena vs. The Rock rematch over the past week or two. WWE officials also talked about the possibility of doing a third match between the two. If they go with the trilogy, the first rematch would take place later this year, likely at SummerSlam. The third match would then take place at WrestleMania 29 in New Jersey. The Rock has agreed to return more often and also participate in more matches. As for the possible Rock/Cena rematches, it all depends on this year's WrestleMania 28 buyrate, crowd reactions, etc.

meh

Predictions:

The Rock vs. John Cena: Still tough. If there is a rematch already planned in the making, The Rock (winning in his hometown probably is a favor). But still, my "favorite winner" for this match is Cena

Triple H vs. The Undertaker: Im going to decide for Undertaker. The whole "whos ego is bigger" storyline is pretty much leaning towards him.

An afterthought (might be stupid) but does someone see Foley getting involved in the match some how? Undertaker tried Shawn, Foley retired HHH.......just a (twisted) afterthought :p (I say stupid because Foley cant feud with anyone as he doesnt wrestle)

CM Punk © vs. Chris Jericho: This one actually got someone intresting when Jericho started with the remarks....Tough.

Daniel Bryan © vs. Sheamus: Sheamus. Its stupid for Bryan to hold the title anymore. He doesnt provide anything. Besides, they are practically begging to open a storyline between Punk and Bryan....

Cody Rhodes © vs. Big Show: Big Show. I said it before, it would be cruel if it is Rhodes :p

Randy Orton vs. Kane: I mentioned that this doesnt deserve a match on its own. The storyline is too short. Kane; Kane wins and Orton challenges him again at the next PPV and bla bla bla....They can stretch this one out for months.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, TBA, TBA and TBA) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Christian, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and TBA): This is the second most stupid match on the card, so Ill just say the missing teammates.

For "Teddy" I can see alot of twists: Either we can get funky ;) , Matt Bloom (Lord Tensai) can make his debut, Ezekiel Jackson (yawn), The Great Khali (yawn) or a celebrity. The reason I say these names is because Teddy doest have a "powerhouse" like Mark Henry. A nice surprise for the celebrity would be ?ydr?nas Savickas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDydr%C5%ABnas_Savickas ). :) Would make a better celebrity than Maria Menounos. That leaves two slots free......... Ryder is a possibility (and will probably be). The other would be Teddy himself (making Laurinaitis the other slot), Akana (making Vickie the other slutslot) or a legend (on Teddy) and the Miz (on Laurinaitis). I prefer the last option as it will be more "surprising"

For this match, I dont know and I dont really care.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres: There always has to be the most stupid match on the card and this is it. Logic would say that since Maria picked up the last fall over Beth, it will be reserved this time but I see the celebrity ALWAYS winning so........

On that note Beth needs to go to TNA. WWE is wasting time and money in the Divas division and should simply kill it and have them be managers. There is absolutely nothing interesting about the storylines there (even when they try a Eve/Ryder/Cena twist...)

Now the WWE Officials are thinking of a Triology between Cena and Rock with 2nd match happening before WrestleMania 29 and third at WrestleMania 29.

Also the WrestleMania 29 main event will likely be announed at the RAW after WM 28. This time, the superstars involved are Taker, Cena, Rock and ... Austin!

My prediction: Cena-Rock II and Taker vs. Austin.

My predictions:

Randy Orton vs. Kane - They barely built their feud. The stupid story Kane told about how Randy beat him a year ago, blah blah...very boring. I expect Kane to win.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres - Who gives a ****? Kelly Kelly is horrible, Eve Torres is not only a horrible wrestler but an even more awful actress. I will be making food or something during this match.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Title - As much as I cannot stand Cody and his retarded lisp, I expect him to win. The folks higher up in WWE seem to like him. He is a good wrestler but his gimmick is retarded...and he over-acts.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Title - I really hope Sheamus wins. Daniel Bryan's gimmick is silly and he has grown stale in ring (though probably no fault of his own).

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny - This match has a lot of potential. Why they had to put Great Khali in there is beyond me...but I still expect it to be good. Probably one of the best "wrestling" matches of the night. I expect the heels to win.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match - I am really not sure. And to be honest, I am caring a whole lot less this year than I figured I would. I do not want the streak to end, but for some reason I cannot grasp WWE making HHH lose three times to him. I don't expect HBK to interfere or anything silly like that, but I do think HHH is going to end the streak, and hopefully Taker can retire.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Title - I want Jericho to win very badly. He is my favorite wrestler ever! In history. He plays the role of a heel so well and can really work the crowd. His in-ring work is just as spectacular as ever, despite getting up there a little bit in age. Rumors online have said his contract will end very shortly after Wrestlemania, so many do not think he will win. I think he will, though. I hope. This will be by far the best wrestling match of the night. I hope they get a good amount of time for their match.

John Cena vs. The Rock - I have debated this back and forth in my head and I do not know what the WWE will do. As much as Cena bores me, I hope he wins as a way for The Rock to pass the torch to him. On the other hand, I grew up watching The Rock, not Cena. It will feel so weird to watch him lose. I think The Rock will win, but I do not necessarily agree with that decision by any means.

Yes and it will be very weird if HHH loses this match. HHH is the best man to end Taker's streak, there is none more preofssional and legendary than HHH. HHH should win, but I doubt he will because it will then end Taker's "branded" Streak. And HBK is there to play some part off course, probably in screwing HHH, so in this way the Streak will continue.

I hate to say it but congrats to Taker for 20-0 in advance.

The Rock has agreed to return more often and also participate in more matches.

This is also something I called! :)

A lot of wrestlers have done this: Movie flicks and then return to the ring. (Hogan stopped from 2001 to 2008 making film related material). I think it would be great to have the Rock come back (more for the entertaining than for the ring: with practice I think his promos will reach the level of back in the day)

Also the WrestleMania 29 main event will likely be announed at the RAW after WM 28. This time, the superstars involved are Taker, Cena, Rock and ... Austin!

Austin has said numerous times that he will never return the ring. Even if he wanted to, the injuries do not allow him to. Edge is another example: When you have to stop, you have to stop.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny - This match has a lot of potential. Why they had to put Great Khali in there is beyond me...but I still expect it to be good. Probably one of the best "wrestling" matches of the night. I expect the heels to win.

Officially, it hasnt been announced. I just said he was one of the possible men. The reason why is that there is no powerhouse (like Henry) on Teddy's team.

Austin has said numerous times that he will never return the ring. Even if he wanted to, the injuries do not allow him to. Edge is another example: When you have to stop, you have to stop.

Austin has said recently that he has one more match in him, but only if the circumstances were right. Let's not forget, HBK was also told he could be paralyzed for life if he returned to the ring due to his back injury from years ago. He returned and stayed for 4 or 5 years (or something like that) more or less full time even. I realize that the back injury/situation HBK was in, is different than the neck injury Edge and Austin have, but I feel it's more or less the same outcome. Like HBK, I do believe Austin will wrestle one more match (probably at WM 29, which is obvious at this point) and down the road even Edge will return for a match or two depending on things.

Hell, in a recent interview, Edge said he was going to continue wrestling up until this years WM (and possibly until WM 29) but the WWE doctors wouldn't clear him to get in the ring anymore.

In any event, Undertaker is not going to lose. Seriously, why would anyone think Undertaker is ever going to lose the streak?

Team Johnny is going to win obviously (who the hell would want to see Teddy Long in charge of both shows, ewww!)

Daniel Bryan better win (and should win) even though they are pushing Sheamus pretty hard these days

CM Punk will probably win even though Jericho should win (Jericho doesn't need it)

Cena *should* go over the Rock but since it is in Miami and other things are involved Rock may win. I believe this is literally dependent on how Vince is feeling at the moment lol

Cody Rhodes is going to win, no reason why Show would

Orton will win, simply because WWE won't have him losing at WM in a fued that has literally had no build up really

Sorry, but I refuse to call anybody that is 500+ lbs. an athlete. They are a giant blob of obesity which can somehow walk and move a bit more than other people that size.

Have you actually watched any of his matches? I'm guessing no. Yes, he was "a blob" in your terms but he was able to do more in the ring than most of the current roster nowadays that are nowhere near his weight. I don't disagree with you except that he was definitely an athlete.

    • Are you going to do performance benchmarks comparing all states? I'd be interested in seeing that in the next "part".
    • My father still uses a programme written in dbase3. Still manages to work with a little help from dosbox.
    • Microsoft hides these secret Windows 11 performance boost settings available on every PC by Sayan Sen Windows enthusiasts often look for ways to extract as much performance out of their systems as possible, and it's often the case that they try and do so while trying to minimize the heat and power consumption. This is especially relevant in the case of mobile Windows PCs since laptops and notebooks tend to get hot and management of that heat and power is harder in such a form factor. As such users often turn to techniques like under-volting which can be used to squeeze out the maximum capabilities of a chip while also maintaining lowered power levels. There are official apps from AMD and Intel with the likes of Ryzen Master and XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility). While these are quite handy, most enthusiasts probably prefer to dig into the BIOS and play around with settings there like Curve Optimizer on Ryzen, which lets users set various frequency-voltage scaling values. These are essentially called P-States. If you are not familiar with them, Processor Power Management is done through Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) P-states and C-states. While P-states or performance pwoer states handle CPU voltage-frequency scaling, C-states deal with CPU sleep states so that some of the CPU functions, which are not necessary at that moment, can be disabled. The P-states and C-states work together to make the processor run more efficiently. It helps the OS and apps determine which cores can be parked and which should be boosted. Of course not every user is an enthusiast or knows the technicalities and integrities of how things like overclocking or undervolting work. Thankfully for them Windows itself offers something pretty cool, though it is hidden by default on all systems. By default, Windows only has two P-States, "Minimum Processor State" and "Maximum Processor State." However, this can be changed with a Registry trick to expand the options under a secret "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown. This essentially enables the HWP or hardware P-States available on a device, and these are not controlled just by the OS itself as the underlying hardware gets involved too. In total there are five Processor Performance Boost Mode profiles that control how Windows requests and allows CPU turbo/boost behavior under the different power policies. They are: Disabled: In this mode, processor boosting is effectively turned off. The CPU will avoid entering turbo or boost frequencies and instead operate closer to its base frequency ceiling. This can significantly reduce power consumption and heat output, but at the cost of reduced burst performance and responsiveness in short workloads. Enabled: This is the standard behavior where boost functionality is allowed under normal conditions. The processor can opportunistically increase frequency when workload demands it, balancing performance gains with power and thermal constraints as managed by the system. Aggressive: Aggressive mode favors performance more heavily, allowing the CPU to enter higher boost states more readily and sustain them longer. This should in theory improve responsiveness under bursty or heavy workloads but increases power draw and thermal output compared to the default enabled behavior. Efficient Enabled: This mode still allows boosting, but with a stronger bias toward energy efficiency. The system attempts to use boost more selectively, avoiding unnecessary frequency spikes when the performance gain is marginal. Efficient Aggressive: This is a hybrid approach where boost is still performance-responsive, but the system continuously weighs efficiency more heavily than in Aggressive mode. It aims to deliver noticeable performance improvements while reducing wasted power in less demanding scenarios. Here's how to enable the Processor performance boost mode: Open Registry Editor: Press Win+R, type regedit, and click OK. Go to: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7 (where HKLM stands for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_) Modify the value of Attributes from 1 to 2 (you can find modify option by right-clicking) After that, exit Registry, you should now be able to see the new "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown menu: As you can see there are now five new P-States or CPPC states or power profile available that help define the boost mode processor setting on your PC. Wrapping it up here's a quick run-down of the settings as defined by Microsoft itself. Setting Description Disabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is disabled. Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) behaviour is disabled. Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Efficient Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Efficient Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows calculates the desired extra performance above the guaranteed performance level, and asks the processor to deliver that specific performance level. Efficient Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows always asks the processor to deliver the highest possible performance above the guaranteed performance level. In the next part we shall be comparing these settings to explore how much of a benefit or regression they can provide in terms of performance and power efficiency. If you decide to change the values on your system and are experiencing problems like crashes or an overheating PC, make sure to revert the steps back to the original state.
