Comments on that video and other sources (rumors) said that he became disruptive in the halls and was thrown out by security. But take that will a grain of salt :)

My question is (referring to Wrestlemania) if they will indeed do a rematch, how can they make the Rock win (if there is a rematch next year, its clear this year Rock wins in his hometown)? If it is all lies and there will only be one match, Cena will still, doesnt matter what happens, win.

Hey, I hope there is a rematch so the Rock can win in our hometown :D

awww I still remember this awesome gimmick!

I effing LOVE that song! :woot:

Also, not sure if anyone else follows this comic, it's quite good.

Yep, I started following Botched Spot a couple of weeks ago. :)

Anyone else here follow Botchamania? :)

Have I missed something . . . ? How did the dirtsheets, or anyone else, know that it is A-Train in that video? Did a source tell them it's A-Train, or are they merely going off of the video, assuming, even though his face isn't shown? The way they're talking about it doesn't sound like they're assuming; it sounds as if they know for sure.

They know because of his very distinctive chest tattoo.

Plus that teamed with rumours a couple of weeks ago that he re-signed, then him denying the rumours on his Twitter added to the speculation.

I wonder who they'll book him to feud with? I've read some people say Brodus Clay, but the more realistic one I've seen is him being yet another monster heel to be taken down by John Cena. I suppose we'll find out on the RAW after WrestleMania; I doubt he'll debut at WM.

We noted yesterday here on the website that WWE officials had been discussing a John Cena vs. The Rock rematch over the past week or two. WWE officials also talked about the possibility of doing a third match between the two. If they go with the trilogy, the first rematch would take place later this year, likely at SummerSlam. The third match would then take place at WrestleMania 29 in New Jersey. The Rock has agreed to return more often and also participate in more matches. As for the possible Rock/Cena rematches, it all depends on this year's WrestleMania 28 buyrate, crowd reactions, etc.

meh

Predictions:

The Rock vs. John Cena: Still tough. If there is a rematch already planned in the making, The Rock (winning in his hometown probably is a favor). But still, my "favorite winner" for this match is Cena

Triple H vs. The Undertaker: Im going to decide for Undertaker. The whole "whos ego is bigger" storyline is pretty much leaning towards him.

An afterthought (might be stupid) but does someone see Foley getting involved in the match some how? Undertaker tried Shawn, Foley retired HHH.......just a (twisted) afterthought :p (I say stupid because Foley cant feud with anyone as he doesnt wrestle)

CM Punk Β© vs. Chris Jericho: This one actually got someone intresting when Jericho started with the remarks....Tough.

Daniel Bryan Β© vs. Sheamus: Sheamus. Its stupid for Bryan to hold the title anymore. He doesnt provide anything. Besides, they are practically begging to open a storyline between Punk and Bryan....

Cody Rhodes Β© vs. Big Show: Big Show. I said it before, it would be cruel if it is Rhodes :p

Randy Orton vs. Kane: I mentioned that this doesnt deserve a match on its own. The storyline is too short. Kane; Kane wins and Orton challenges him again at the next PPV and bla bla bla....They can stretch this one out for months.

Team Teddy (Santino Marella (captain), R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, TBA, TBA and TBA) vs. Team Johnny (David Otunga (captain), Mark Henry, Christian, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and TBA): This is the second most stupid match on the card, so Ill just say the missing teammates.

For "Teddy" I can see alot of twists: Either we can get funky ;) , Matt Bloom (Lord Tensai) can make his debut, Ezekiel Jackson (yawn), The Great Khali (yawn) or a celebrity. The reason I say these names is because Teddy doest have a "powerhouse" like Mark Henry. A nice surprise for the celebrity would be ?ydr?nas Savickas ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDydr%C5%ABnas_Savickas ). :) Would make a better celebrity than Maria Menounos. That leaves two slots free......... Ryder is a possibility (and will probably be). The other would be Teddy himself (making Laurinaitis the other slot), Akana (making Vickie the other slutslot) or a legend (on Teddy) and the Miz (on Laurinaitis). I prefer the last option as it will be more "surprising"

For this match, I dont know and I dont really care.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres: There always has to be the most stupid match on the card and this is it. Logic would say that since Maria picked up the last fall over Beth, it will be reserved this time but I see the celebrity ALWAYS winning so........

On that note Beth needs to go to TNA. WWE is wasting time and money in the Divas division and should simply kill it and have them be managers. There is absolutely nothing interesting about the storylines there (even when they try a Eve/Ryder/Cena twist...)

Now the WWE Officials are thinking of a Triology between Cena and Rock with 2nd match happening before WrestleMania 29 and third at WrestleMania 29.

Also the WrestleMania 29 main event will likely be announed at the RAW after WM 28. This time, the superstars involved are Taker, Cena, Rock and ... Austin!

My prediction: Cena-Rock II and Taker vs. Austin.

My predictions:

Randy Orton vs. Kane - They barely built their feud. The stupid story Kane told about how Randy beat him a year ago, blah blah...very boring. I expect Kane to win.

Maria Menounos & Kelly Kelly vs. Beth Phoenix & Eve Torres - Who gives a ****? Kelly Kelly is horrible, Eve Torres is not only a horrible wrestler but an even more awful actress. I will be making food or something during this match.

Cody Rhodes vs. Big Show for the Intercontinental Title - As much as I cannot stand Cody and his retarded lisp, I expect him to win. The folks higher up in WWE seem to like him. He is a good wrestler but his gimmick is retarded...and he over-acts.

Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus for the World Heavyweight Title - I really hope Sheamus wins. Daniel Bryan's gimmick is silly and he has grown stale in ring (though probably no fault of his own).

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny - This match has a lot of potential. Why they had to put Great Khali in there is beyond me...but I still expect it to be good. Probably one of the best "wrestling" matches of the night. I expect the heels to win.

The Undertaker vs. Triple H in a Hell in a Cell Match - I am really not sure. And to be honest, I am caring a whole lot less this year than I figured I would. I do not want the streak to end, but for some reason I cannot grasp WWE making HHH lose three times to him. I don't expect HBK to interfere or anything silly like that, but I do think HHH is going to end the streak, and hopefully Taker can retire.

CM Punk vs. Chris Jericho for the WWE Title - I want Jericho to win very badly. He is my favorite wrestler ever! In history. He plays the role of a heel so well and can really work the crowd. His in-ring work is just as spectacular as ever, despite getting up there a little bit in age. Rumors online have said his contract will end very shortly after Wrestlemania, so many do not think he will win. I think he will, though. I hope. This will be by far the best wrestling match of the night. I hope they get a good amount of time for their match.

John Cena vs. The Rock - I have debated this back and forth in my head and I do not know what the WWE will do. As much as Cena bores me, I hope he wins as a way for The Rock to pass the torch to him. On the other hand, I grew up watching The Rock, not Cena. It will feel so weird to watch him lose. I think The Rock will win, but I do not necessarily agree with that decision by any means.

Yes and it will be very weird if HHH loses this match. HHH is the best man to end Taker's streak, there is none more preofssional and legendary than HHH. HHH should win, but I doubt he will because it will then end Taker's "branded" Streak. And HBK is there to play some part off course, probably in screwing HHH, so in this way the Streak will continue.

I hate to say it but congrats to Taker for 20-0 in advance.

The Rock has agreed to return more often and also participate in more matches.

This is also something I called! :)

A lot of wrestlers have done this: Movie flicks and then return to the ring. (Hogan stopped from 2001 to 2008 making film related material). I think it would be great to have the Rock come back (more for the entertaining than for the ring: with practice I think his promos will reach the level of back in the day)

Also the WrestleMania 29 main event will likely be announed at the RAW after WM 28. This time, the superstars involved are Taker, Cena, Rock and ... Austin!

Austin has said numerous times that he will never return the ring. Even if he wanted to, the injuries do not allow him to. Edge is another example: When you have to stop, you have to stop.

Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny - This match has a lot of potential. Why they had to put Great Khali in there is beyond me...but I still expect it to be good. Probably one of the best "wrestling" matches of the night. I expect the heels to win.

Officially, it hasnt been announced. I just said he was one of the possible men. The reason why is that there is no powerhouse (like Henry) on Teddy's team.

Austin has said numerous times that he will never return the ring. Even if he wanted to, the injuries do not allow him to. Edge is another example: When you have to stop, you have to stop.

Austin has said recently that he has one more match in him, but only if the circumstances were right. Let's not forget, HBK was also told he could be paralyzed for life if he returned to the ring due to his back injury from years ago. He returned and stayed for 4 or 5 years (or something like that) more or less full time even. I realize that the back injury/situation HBK was in, is different than the neck injury Edge and Austin have, but I feel it's more or less the same outcome. Like HBK, I do believe Austin will wrestle one more match (probably at WM 29, which is obvious at this point) and down the road even Edge will return for a match or two depending on things.

Hell, in a recent interview, Edge said he was going to continue wrestling up until this years WM (and possibly until WM 29) but the WWE doctors wouldn't clear him to get in the ring anymore.

In any event, Undertaker is not going to lose. Seriously, why would anyone think Undertaker is ever going to lose the streak?

Team Johnny is going to win obviously (who the hell would want to see Teddy Long in charge of both shows, ewww!)

Daniel Bryan better win (and should win) even though they are pushing Sheamus pretty hard these days

CM Punk will probably win even though Jericho should win (Jericho doesn't need it)

Cena *should* go over the Rock but since it is in Miami and other things are involved Rock may win. I believe this is literally dependent on how Vince is feeling at the moment lol

Cody Rhodes is going to win, no reason why Show would

Orton will win, simply because WWE won't have him losing at WM in a fued that has literally had no build up really

Sorry, but I refuse to call anybody that is 500+ lbs. an athlete. They are a giant blob of obesity which can somehow walk and move a bit more than other people that size.

Have you actually watched any of his matches? I'm guessing no. Yes, he was "a blob" in your terms but he was able to do more in the ring than most of the current roster nowadays that are nowhere near his weight. I don't disagree with you except that he was definitely an athlete.

    • 7 Days: Killing uBlock Origin bypasses, Euro Office faces fire, and will AI replace you? by Aditya Tiwari 7 Days is a weekly roundup of picks of what's been happening in the world of technology - written with a dash of humor, a hint of exasperation, and an endless supply of (black) coffee. This week's highlights include WWDC 2026 announcements, updates on child safety, and Meta's use of data from outside businesses to optimize your feed. Let's get started. You can check out the recent issues of the 7 Days weekly roundup. Killing uBlock Origin bypasses The hottest news of the week was about Google Chrome effectively ending most uBlock Origin workarounds (a free, open-source ad blocker extension) by permanently dropping MV2 extensions and their bypasses. Chrome is transitioning towards newer MV3 extensions. A recent discussion thread highlighted how the latest and upcoming versions of the most popular browser are expected to be its final releases with support for MV2 extensions. Genuinely European? Euro-Office faces fire The recently launched cloud-based office suite, Euro-Office, is facing criticism at home. The LibreOffice developer wrote an open letter criticizing Euro-Office for its marketing claim that it's the "first open-source office suite developed in Europe," since the honor has belonged to OpenOffice since 2001. The Document Foundation has called out Euro-Office, arguing that it can't consider "itself genuinely European" as long as it keeps pushing Microsoft defaults on users, adding that "it has to speak ODF as its mother tongue." Will AI replace you? Image: Tara Winstead via Pexels Microsoft's AI boss, Mustafa Suleyman, said in an interview earlier this year that AI would replace office workers within 12 to 18 months. Joining the ranks of top executives who have softened their stance on AI replacing humans, Suleyman recently walked back his earlier remarks and now says that AI will automate tasks, not replace entire white-collar jobs. He defended his earlier comments by arguing that they referred only to individual actions people perform at their desks. Louis Rossmann wants to sue Samsung Image: Louis Rossmann Tech repair entrepreneur and right-to-repair activist Louis Rossmann contacted Samsung support over a failed 4TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD. After back-and-forth communication, Samsung offered a $330 refund instead of a replacement, but Rossmann found that the SSD was readily available for new buyers at a higher price. He has issued a formal 60-day notice and intends to file a suit in Texas small claims court, as Samsung's actions reflect a failure to honor its warranty obligations. Samsung reached out to Neowin to clarify its updated stance that customers in such situations will receive a refund equal to the product's current market price. Child safety or mass surveillance? Image: Jonathan Borba via Pexels Signal accused the UK government of using child safety and device-level explicit content ban as a cover for mass surveillance. Calling the plan "dystopian," Signal warned that it violates everyone's fundamental right to privacy. The messaging platform believes that the government should keep children "safe" and "protected," but it should do so through social services and education. Fears of social media regulation Image via DepositPhotos.com More governments across the globe are tightening their grip on social media and bringing stricter regulations in the name of child safety. Bluesky COO, Rose Wang, warned that social media regulations could destroy competition from small startups and that heavy regulatory compliance costs favor deep-pocketed tech giants while locking out new entrants. Our Features Image: Pexels Our coffee-powered team publishes a platter of editorials, opinion posts, and guides. Here's what they got for the week: UK **** blockers are a looming privacy disaster, we must be able to see the source code This week in software news Image: Proton Catch up on some of the latest software news updates that arrived throughout the week: Dark clouds over PC makers: Building on our report from last month, Dell officially acknowledged that its own remediation software was causing BSOD issues and unexpected system restarts. HP is also facing equally frustrating issues involving recent Windows Secure Boot updates on Windows 11. Controversial icon: Spotify finally removed the disco ball icon from its app and replaced it with the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. While some people don't like the new design, the retro, three-dimensional look has generated a following of its own. Even other brands are coming up with their versions of the disco logo. NVIDIA fixes stuff: A new hotfix driver 610.52 fixes various issues related to monitors and displays, noting that G-SYNC-related frame pacing troubles should now be resolved on Ada Lovelace GPUs. The feedback thread also points out that the hotfix patches a BSOD issue. FIFA World Cup tracker: Opera is redesigning its Android browser with a built-in football tracker for the upcoming World Cup in the US. The new homepage is now "more immersive" with easier access to common browser features. Command line for Proton: The Swiss technology company has launched a command line version of the Proton Drive, which you can use to manage your encrypted files directly from a terminal across all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This week in hardware news Image: Thermaltake Catch up on some of the latest software news updates that arrived throughout the week: Intel and AMD PCs in one case: Thermaltake's CAPO X dual-system chassis brings you the best of both worlds by supporting two microATX (mATX) motherboards and up to two 360 mm AIO liquid coolers. If you want ideas, maybe you can use one as your main PC and another as an AI agent. Google Tensor production: While TSMC will remain the lead producer, the search giant is reportedly in talks with Samsung to hand over part of the production of its next-generation Tensor AI chips. The upcoming TPUs are reportedly codenamed β€œIcefish” and will be produced using Samsung's 2-nanometer process technology. Lethal fake phone chargers: UK-based consumer rights organization Which? has warned that "potentially lethal knock-off chargers" are still being sold on online marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay, despite the dangers of such chargers having been exposed. This week in Google News Image: Google Catch up on some of the latest Google news updates that arrived throughout the week: Sliding into DMs: You might remember that YouTube had a direct messaging feature back in the day. It's now rolling out a revamped direct messaging inbox that lets you share Shorts, videos, and live streams and have conversations about them. New in NotebookLM: The AI-powered note-taking app got some new agentic capabilities and more advanced reasoning, thanks to support for Gemini 3.5 and Antigravity. NotebookLM can now generate outputs in more formats, making it easier to start new projects with less information. This week in Apple News Image: Apple Catch up on some of the latest Apple news updates that arrived throughout the week: WWDC 2026: This week was all about Apple's annual developer conference, where the iPhone-maker finally unveiled an upgraded Siri AI and a platter of new Apple Intelligence features. Siri AI now has a cross-platform app, which is supported on select models of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. What's different about WWDC: I wrote a detailed feature this week discussing how Apple changed the WWDC keynote this year, blurring the lines between its operating systems. Apple didn't have dedicated segments for its operating systems this year and didn't even publish the official press releases. Liquid Glass slider (finally): It's that time of the year when Apple previews fresh updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other platforms. A new transparency slider for Liquid Glass is coming to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate. Is your device supported?: If you're wondering whether your Apple device supports the new developer beta builds, you can check the respective compatibility lists for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27. Siri AI not coming to Europe: Yes, that's true due to complications related to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). While Apple penned a blog post to tell its side of the story, a European Commission spokesperson told Neowin that the DMA does not prohibit Apple from launching its services in the EU; the company is simply required to comply with the law. New child safety features: Apple announced a trove of new safety features for kids, including a simpler setup experience for parents, Ask to Browse, Time Allowances, and a redesigned Screen Time UI. Parents can now visit a new website to find answers to common questions around child safety features. More cloud power: Apple's Private Cloud Compute cloud infrastructure will now run beyond its own data centers for the first time. It's working with Google and NVIDIA to run new Apple Intelligence workloads on Google Cloud systems powered by NVIDIA GPUs. This week in Meta news Catch up on the latest Meta news updates that arrived throughout the week: Data from outside: Meta is rolling out a new update globally to personalize your AI responses and primary feeds using data from outside businesses. It already targets ads based on shopping activity, but the latest development enables it to personalize other "parts of your experience." There is a toggle in the Settings to disable activity from other businesses; however, it won't prevent companies from sending your data to Meta. Level playing field: The European Commission has ordered the social media giant to restore access to WhatsApp for third-party AI chatbots, including ChatGPT and Copilot. Meta previously blocked rival AI chatbots from operating on WhatsApp, prompting the Commission to launch an antitrust investigation. Spying on users: On the flip side, WhatsApp accused the Israeli cyber-intelligence firm, NSO Group, of deploying a fresh wave of targeted "spear phishing" attacks against its users, which were thwarted by WhatsApp's security teams. Reorder profile grid: Adding some customization for the profile grid feature, Instagram now lets you rearrange posts in your profile without deleting and reuploading content. Go to your profile and long-press any thumbnail to find the "Reorder grid" option. This week in AI news Catch up on the latest artificial intelligence news updates that arrived throughout the week: Claude RAM hogger: Windows users are getting infuriated by Claude Desktop's hidden 1.8GB Hyper-V VM bug, which spins up if you use Claude Cowork or agent mode even once. It shows a Vmmem process in Task Manager, indicating 0% CPU usage but 1.8GB of RAM usage. Claude Fable 5: The new state-of-the-art AI model from Anthropic beats OpenAI's ChatGPT-5.5 in multiple AI benchmarks. Claude Fable 5 sits above the Opus models and outperforms most other generally available models across knowledge work, vision, scientific research, and more. However, the model was abruptly suspended after receiving an export control directive from the US government. Stack Overflow for AI agents: The popular Q&A platform has launched Stack Overflow for Agents in beta, which AI agents can use to share, find, and reuse coding knowledge. It explained that AI agents operate in isolation, creating an Ephemeral Intelligence Gap, and valuable tokens are wasted on something another agent has already solved. Upgrading Codex: OpenAI is buying a company called Ona, which makes secure cloud execution and orchestration technology for developers. The ChatGPT-maker aims to make Codex agents run for days without being tied to a local machine or an active session. It also announced a new developer mode in Chrome. It's a smartphone-sized device with a rotating dial, sitting somewhere between premium and cheap in terms of build quality. Speaking of the pros, the physical controls are cool, the smart dial is useful, the battery life is good, and Android 15 has no-nonsense software. On the flip side, the device lacks software customization, the built-in AI needs improvement, the smart dial is a bit wobbly, and there is no ambient light sensor. EA Sports UFC 6 EA Sports UFC 6 does a better job at onboarding new players than most fighting games, according to Pulasthi's detailed review. The game comes with rewarding combat systems, top-notch animation, impressive impact physics, and visible damage on fighters. • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.
