WZ has learned today that plans for the WWE Network have been put on hold indefinitely. At this point, the network hasn't a single deal signed with cable providers, and while WWE was considering making the network a pay channel, similar to HBO, internal studies have shown less than 100,000 homes would be willing to pay a monthly fee.

Additionally, WZ has learned through sources close to the head of the HR department and the VP of programming, that all hiring for the network has been frozen. In fact, we have been told any new hires that have been made for the network are in jeopardy of being terminated.

Initially, the launch was pushed to November 12th of this year, then to February of 2013, but as of this writing the network is not going forward at all. We've been told WWE failed to realize what a big onset and investment the network would be, and NBC Universal was going to sell WWE part of its Universal HD channel, but WWE balked and wanted its own network.

Now, with no infrastructure set up at all, we've been told a network would be virtually impossible to create in 6-12 months.

[. . .] i must have zoned out at the ending.

That's why we need Good Ol' JR back to react crazily and say things like "OH MAH GAWD! IT'S PAUL HEYMAN. THAT DAMN SON OF A GUN. MAH GAWD." That might have kept your attention :D

I miss JR :(

I think we all miss JR. Yet Vince has to embarrass him time and time again. I wonder what the hell JR ever did to Vince (other than kiss his ass) to get this kind of treatment. He's one of, if not the best commentators of all time, yet he's not on TV, and he doesn't even do PPV's anymore. Oh and I don't count that new gig he does with NXT or whichever show he does now. If he's not on RAW or Smackdown, it doesn't count :D

BAH GAWD HE JUST GOT RIPPED EN HALF!

Wades return was really underwhelming I hope they build him up somewhere along the line

it was a weak return for sure. I like wade and hope hes champ sometime soon

I wouldn't expect him to be champ soon, my guess is they'll build him up and then around wrestlemania time, he might get a shot. Let's not forget, he was supposed to (supposedly lol) win the MitB for SD instead of Ziggler but who knows why they changed their mind. He was cleared to wrestle as far as I know.

    • Microsoft now allows you to tweak Visual Studio to new extremes by Usama Jawad Visual Studio 2026 recently netted a powerful feature that finally allows developers to review Git Pull Requests (PRs) directly in the integrated development environment (IDE), without needing to switch to the browser. However, that's not all that Microsoft introduced in the latest version, as it also offered a useful way to customize the IDE to their heart's content. Although Visual Studio 2026 already provides lots of stock themes based on Fluent Design principles, Microsoft understands that people still want to customize them further according to their preferences. The IDE now offers a new configuration page for themes under Tools > Options > Environment > Visual Experience > Theme colors. This allows you to set hex color codes for accent colors, hover states, and more, and apply them without requiring a restart. The Redmond tech giant further says that: Microsoft is also offering granular color tokens that allow you to customize various UX elements like the tab header without impacting the rest of the shell chrome. Your themes are also stored in JSON format in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\VisualStudio\18.0_xxxxxxxx\ColorThemes, which basically enables you to share it with others or override existing themes. This is a major improvement in terms of the user experience powering these customization capabilities. This is because extensions were required to replace the theme, and it was not very easy to make minor adjustments. This theme configuration UX solves this problem and is available in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, available here.
