I watched RAW this morning; god, it was so unnerving watching after what happened to Jerry Lawler. :no: Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery. Hopefully the writers will show some compassion, and abandon the storyline with CM Punk.

But for my money, Lawler's voice is as much a part of WWE commentating as JR. I wish him well - he has done more for the industry than a lot of "young WWE viewers" will know...

Ever since the original Tough Enough, I always wished they would give Josh Matthews a bigger role. He was so shy on the show that I never would have envisioned him as a commentator, but I really like his style. Very professional.

Having him on commentary all the time takes away from the impact (no pun intended) he has when he shows up for Punk (or Lesnar).

Jerry Lawler's ex-wife and former WWE Diva Stacy ?The Kat? Carter provided the following update on Lawler's condition. The good news, he is now off ventilation but tests are being done to see if he has any brain damage due to the time it took to revive him:

"I have an update on Jerry. The docs are removing his ventilation & taking him out of sedation. He is responsive, which is great!!! It took a while to revive him last night so there?s the concern of brain damage. He had some tests done which will show how much if any damage there is due to the lack of oxygen to his brain. Unfortunately, the results won?t be in until in the morning. I appreciate all the calls, texts, tweets, & Facebook messages of support & I know Jerry will too. Thanks everybody!"

Wow, I honestly thought Jerry and Stacy didn't get along anymore after their divorce years ago. Maybe they made up and are on speaking terms now I guess? Either way, it's great she is concerned. I always thought of her as a cold hearted you know what to be honest.

Also, anyone else reading the comments on Wrestlezone about these stories on Jerry? Some of them make me sick, and worry for the future of Humanity in general.
